  1. The Bills can win, and win a lot with Cousins, but he needs everything around him to be close to perfect. Solid NFL QB, not like Rodgers or Brady.

Do you wanna spend half your salary cap space on just a SOLID QB?

If I am McBeane I am keeping a close on Luck. If he is healthy, I'd be interested in giving the Colts something in the 2019 draft. I'm not giving away picks in this draft for a QB coming off an injury and could be a question mark.

Luck is on the Rodgers level, Cousins is not. And if nothing can't be worked out, just draft the QB and develop him, for once. There are enough very good QB prospects in this draft and the Bills should get their hands on one.

I'm sure though that they'll explore Cousins, and, maybe, Luck though.

But I mean, the Bills have been held to 3 points on 2 separate occasions this year, how is that any better? Yeah it's absurd to assume Miami is a juggernaut but don't act like they're some pushover that are guaranteed wins.

I never said the Dolphins were guaranteed wins.

In 2017, no games are guaranteed wins for Buffalo. Maybe in the future if McBeane can get their roster to where they like it.

  3. I predict the Bills trade up to 1 or 2 and get their QB for their offense for the next 15 years (Darnold) and they trade back into the first round and get their QB for their D too in Cameron Smith. Two Southern Californian kids quarterbacking the O and the D for the next 15 years.

    How great would that be?

    You heard it here first.

Hey, I can make wacky predictions too, you know.

And their GM was just replaced for it. Dorsey has enough picks to be happy. He doesn't need to trade out.

You are correct, but this is Cleveland, so you never know.

If the new GM is smart......... stay put and get your QB.

    That's a king's ransom.  I'd be surprised still, but I guess it's possible.

Trading up for a QB is very costly and I bet the Giants would even want a player thrown into that deal (Glenn).

  5. Just now, Dr. Who said:

You see Cleveland or the Giants trading out?  I don't.

Cleveland has done it multiple times before........... not to say they will do it this year.........

and the Giants new brass might think enough of Webb and might wanna get more assets. If, for example, the Bills offer 3 1's and a 2 for the 2nd overall pick, it might be hard to pass up and Darnold or Rosen is the new Buffalo QB, if they both come out.

  6. It should be..................

    LT Glenn

    LG Incognito

     C Groy

RG 2018 draft pick (anywhere from rounds 2-5)

    RT Dawkins

This sounds so simple that even a caveman can do it.

Wood isn't the same player any more and Groy deserves his shot to be a starter as he filled admirably for Wood at the end of 2016 when would was injured.

Vlad and Mills could be viable backups. They are not starter material and with them on the right side, it really derails what the team can do offensively.

Dawkins is one of the 5 best OLmen on the team easily and should be out there.

Glenn is a premier LT when healthy and this team should give him a chance to get healthy for 2018 to show what he can before trading him off.

There are some good G prospects in this draft and the Bills should/could be able to get a solid starter anywhere from rounds 2-5.

FA can help bring in a back up C. Wood needs to be released, as it saves the team a little cap room in the process with Wood's declining play.

    What do you think?

If McD is truly serious about TT being the starter if healthy he's either way in over his head or playing a serious game of 4-D chess.

McDermott is in a pickle Savior.

He has a below average starter and a raw-boned rookie (that wasn't a high draft pick) to chose from.

I think we should be doing cartwheels that the Bills are in this position with the worst QB situation possible.

I actually think that Peterman can be a good NFL QB, despite his million-interception debut game, but experience will win out here.

Their thinking is that Taylor might actually play well against an awful Dolphins team.

Regardless, it might be a dog fight for the Bills against Miami in both games cause of the weak QB situation.

My targets for FA are DTs Donald and/or latuleleileielileiele

    Is Donald a FA?

I thought he signed a mega-deal with the Rams............... or are they at an impasse. I don't know.

of course it it.   But to expect that wit ha rookie HC is really asking a lot.

I was all in hoping for success until I say and remembered the limitations of Taylor.

I was this close |     |   to thinking TT had turned the corner then wham he slammed the door of reality back in my face.

I think 9-7 (maybe a miracle 10-6) is quite impressive with no QB. And a playoff appearance to boot.

I say a miracle 10-6 cause if the Pats lose, they may be a little flat knowing they won't catch the Steelers with Pittsburgh's remaining schedule.

    Indeed.

I felt for almost the entirety of the drought that the Bills had no plan, just a succession of duct tapings and bandaids. Whether anyone likes it or not, this team HAS a direction, finally. I happen to like it, since it's all I've really asked for for a LONG time.

I'll cut the mentally-deficient newbie some slack. Maybe he doesn't know how to use search.

Hopefully the long term plan involves bringing in a franchise QB.

Personally, I have no idea where they are going for said QB, but it should make it a fun off season.

I wonder if they find out if Luck is healthy and they make a run at him knowing there is MAJOR riff between him and the Colts. Just a thought.
