It is a massive concern if you look at the last few years drafts. I just don't see what they see in this so called Championship defense that they seem so obsessed with. On top of that, he has not been good at drafting to create thus so called defense. He has hit on 1 pick, and the only reason he still has a job here, Josh Allen 4 1st and 3 2nds on the Dline. Where are they? That in itself is almost a fireable offense

I like to phrase it in a simple way that makes you really think about it. How many years of having Josh Allen as your qb and Not make the Superbowl does one get? Seriously? Imo with their defensive mindset, they have peaked, at their ceiling now. Only way to get better is to move on and find someone that knows what an offense is. Without Josh Allen Beane and McDermott would have probably been fired last year as we woukd be the worst team in the division

Its Beanes fault we went into the season promoting Davis and McKenzie up the depth chart, fielding us a worse WR group than we had the previous year. And before anyone says we added Crowder, please, just stop. Crowder was in no way an upgrade to Beasley. All that defense capital used is whats going to get him fired, even after getting the Allen pick right. He has missed on most of his picks and its becoming more obvious now

A Dl that has had 4 1st rounders and 3 2nd rounders should not need an aging Von Miller and his massive contract to help them get a pass rush. Thats just piss poor drafting, at the expense of the offense to top it off Im finally at the point that I dont think they are capable of it. I think they are at their ceiling and we need an offensive minded coach to get us there

Im personally tired of Beanes magic. It has turned out to be quite the turd due to his awful drafting

Aj is a bust based off draft position. Same can be said about the rest of the massive draft capital on the DL. Rousseau has a chance, that it. Ed is likely gone after this season as he should be, not worth a contract. A complete failure that has not only hurt the Defense, but the offense as well. That draft capital could have, should have been used on OL and WRs

Its really sad when you think about it, we had to over pay an aging Von Miller to generate a pass rush with all those draft picks used. Huge failure. On top of that it has cost the Offense very needed resources

Looking back at the drafts and FA contracts now, I agree 100% Outside of Allen, Diggs, he has failed. We will be watching some other team next weekend once again, largely in part because of Beanes drafting and defensive focus. Add in the fact you have Josh Allen as your Qb, how does one consider where we are now a success? Without Allen we would be at the bottom of the Afce, and thats on Beane

I think its going to take a little more than Soul searching. I think they need to be seriously considering the coaching/gm search. I feel like Beane and McDermott have peaked with their defensive mentality and past draft failures are rearing their ugly head right now

It will eventually cost Beane and McDermott a job imo. Its so obvious now how bad the drafting has been except Allen. They refuse to help the offense and they have pretty much reached their ceiling based off of ther insistence to invest on the Defense, and doing poorly at it to top it off. If it won't For Josh Allen Beane and McDermott woukd not be in Buffalo right now

Hated the contract when we did it, Hate it even worse now! When you have multiple 1st, 2nd rounders on your line and you still have to go out and overpay an aging Von Miller to get a pass rush, you suck at drafting

Who is? Honestly looking back, outside of Allen, they have been terrible drafting. More draft picks and money spent on that Dline than any other team since McDermott got here, and they still had to overpay for a aging Von Miller to cover uo for their draft failures. Unfortunately he got hurt, and the light was on for all of us to witness. Those failures also move on to the offense, because you used all the draft capital on Defense

As much as I hate to say it, I think its time to move on. How many years with Josh Allen as your qb and you miss the SB does one get? Seriously? In order for us to get better we need to focus on offense, and I dont think Beane and McDermott are capable of that. Look at our drafts since they been here, its 3 defensive picks per offensive picks in top of the draft. On top of that most of the picks that were used on defense are failures! They did that while having Josh Allen as QB to top it all off. They did great for us coming in, unfortunately I think they have reached their ceiling

And the DL is still basically a bunch of nobody's. Only players that Bills fans recognize. They have not only failed at using resources on the Offense, they have failed using the picks that they used on Defense. I never really considered firing Beane or McDermott until now. It seems to be all coming out for fans to see, and its infuriating to see honestly

Its too bad he has to play against 11 people by himself Unfortunately I feel like a cleaning of house is needed to accomplish this. Go look at the posts showing OL and WR drafted since McDermott has been here

Thanks for this. Just confirms my belief this administration does not value offense. Its really upsetting how they have handled the offense. Having Josh Allen as your qb makes it much worse too

I kind of felt it coming, so it was nowhere near as bad as last year for me. The worst part of this year is that I feel like our current administration won't change their defense mentality and continue to use valued resources on defense yet again, resulting in the same thing as long as they are here. Btw, they are not very good at using resources on Defense either. Almost every one of their picks have not played up to their draft position. We probably have more draft capital and Fa money on the Dline than any other team since McDermott got here, and the DL is trash

If they can't change their mentality and draft/fa resources, this is exactly what needs to happen for us to improve.

Won't get one if you don't draft or sign one. That is why we are having this discussion now. This a failure on the GM and coach
