  1. In hindsight the massive aging Miller contract was a bad move. 120m for a 33 year old? We constantly talk about teams overpaying for an aging Poyer, who is younger than Von, yet they somehow get a pass signing an aging Von. Its no shock that he is hurt, just like Poyer and Hyde. That contract is going to strap the cap starting right now, and we can't get rid of it. Fwiw, I was against it when we paid him that massive contract, for the reasons I mentioned above. I know he played well when he played, but thats kind of my point, when he played. Where was he during the playoffs? The same place an aging Hyde and almost Poyer were at. If you have to not play a player "to preserve him for the playoffs" because of their age, you shouldn't be signing them to massive contracts. Especially when you have used 2 1st and 2 2nds in the draft recently to rush the passer
  2. I would take my chances with the Sushi.
  3. Exactly. Terrible drafting and roster management is why we are where we are with so many holes this year. The haven't fixed the Oline in 6 years. Lack of WR focus has been awful, all the wasted picks on Defense, especially the DL has been failures It catches up after some point. We are at that point. They have screwed up too many years now to fix it this season imo
  4. I dont see them getting better by keeping everyone. There are arguments to be made for both of those opinions
  5. Some of us would like to see 1 SB win before we die. Beane and McDermott have rode the coat tails of the Josh Allen pick and some of us dont want to see his career wasted with Defensive minds. Some of us are willing to risk change for someone who will possibly get us over the hump, believing that Mcbeane and McDermott can't do it. Even if it means going back to missing the playoffs. Mahomes has already won 1, made it to multiple, in Burrows short career he has already made it once, and may be going back again. Then there is Josh Allen, no excuses to miss the SB every year with Josh Allen as your QB. Some of us can already see the terrible drafting and roster management failures, lack of ability to adjust and be a great game day coaching staff when it matters, and there seems to be no indication of change to fix it
  6. By the looks and actions of this team, I fear some have already stopped trusting the process. Cant blame them, when the process includes focusing on Defense 3 to 1, and you have Josh Allen as your qb, who in their right mind could trust that process year after year!
  7. Agreed. Josh Allen. Can't think of much else with the way they have handled the roster.
  8. Like Cowhert said, you had all week to plan and you go 3 and out the 1st drive. It was over in the 1st quarter. They have failed to put together an offensive line for 6 years, while other coaches fix theirs in 1 Their roster building and drafting has be atrocious. The roster talent seems to get worse year after year, and its not looking good for them on fixing it this offseson. They have had 6 years to address the line, and quite a few years neglecting WR. But we got that vaunted Dline right? Yeah they screwed those picks up too. Too many bad draft years and proper FA acquisition to fix it this offseason imo. I think they have dug their grave after next year
  9. Unfortunately I think he has screwed uo the draft and neglected the offense so bad the last 4 years, It will be too much to overcome this offseason. Im very happy to be wrong. But I think they die with that major DL investment next year at the expense of not getting one of the best qbs viable weapons and protection. Cowherd had a great point, Andy Reid rebuilt an Oline in 1 offseason, so did the Chargers. This id Beanes 6th year and the Oline still couldn't be much worse. Terrible drafting/Fa, roster management
  10. Without Josh Allen we would be the bottom feeders of the AFCE right now. Thats on the GM and coaching
  11. Since 2018 not one team has drafted more DL in the top 2 rounds than Buffalo. During this same time frame, they have selected less WR in the top 3 rounds than any other teams. It was on full display again the Bengals trotting out all their 1st, 2nd, and 3rd round Wrs, will Beanes D line with all the capital used was completely invisible I hope Terry has an advisor, these answers ate exactly what I did not want to hear for the most part. As great as Beane, McDermott have been, I dont think they possess the mentality to build an offensive team around Josh Allen
  12. He is hanging on hard to that Josh Allen pick, he knows he would probably be fired by now if it won't for Allen. They almost have to sign Edmunds to show they actually got more than 1 pick right
  13. O dont always agree with Cowherd, but its hard to argue against anything he said here
  14. Its just kicking the can down the road imo. McDermott is at his ceiling I believe. Time for Offensive coach
  15. I blame it on coaches. While I have no way of knowing this, I would put a nice wager saying the Bills lose that game with Von and Micah playing. I mean it won't even close, ever!
  16. Committed to trading him hopefully. They could honestly try to trade a lot of the wasted Defensive picks if you can find a trade partner, we severely need OL and WR help. F the defense
  17. Agree 100% with you. It will eventually cost Beane his job Imo. Drafting has been horrible
  18. Its just like I asked in another thread, How many years can one go without making the SB with Josh Allen as your QB and not get fired? The media is calling for it now.
  19. This is exactly how I see it, including the draft picks
  20. I got my pitchfork out! When do we march?
  21. I actually have to agree with what Colin Cowherd said. You have to go get a Offensive coach, he backed it with very good reasons as why you should do this. The sooner they do this the better imo, why kick it down the road? My opinion of Beane and McDermott is that they are at their ceiling, I dont see them getting any better and putting us over the hump. The roster is likely to start getting worse due to massive contracts and terrible drafting
  22. This is the same people that put Nathan Peterman on the field as our starter, and let the only OL draft pick they hit on walk to another team. There is real cause for concern. On top of what you said, look at how bad they have done in the draft the last 3 years
  23. I will respectively disagree.
  24. I think the light is on now for everyone to see and they will not be getting any more passes. Its just blatantly obvious now they have drafted terrible and ignored the offense for too long. Its all catching up to them now
