  1. That's okay. According to this thread, it rebounded.
  2. Trying to make some sense of it all But I can see it makes no sense at all Is it cool to go to sleep on the floor? 'Cause I don't think that I can take anymore
  3. Like NE, GB had the benefit of being in an otherwise inept division. That explains the division titles. And that explains GB's reputation for underperforming in the playoffs.
  4. So, don't worry about tomorrow Take it today Forget about the check We'll get hell to pay

  13. Fine. Let's call it trading away future assets and long-term sustainability for a desperate attempt at a ring next year. Better?
  14. Obviously, but the person I was responding to said he didn't think it was enough to win it all, but it was enough to make the playoffs. To me, that's not worth the cap hit or whatever they'll have to trade away in order to get him.
  15. Is it worth mortgaging the future just to make the playoffs once or twice?
  16. From the other direction, she was calling my eye It could be an illusion, but I might as well try Might as well try
  17. That's a false dichotomy. Is there no happy medium between those two extremes? For me, the key to my career was balance. I worked hard but still had time to spend with my family. I retired from my full-time gig at the first moment of eligibility and I have no regrets at all. (My wife and I both work part-time from home now. We don't make a ton of money at it, but it supplements the retirement income.) We'd have more money if I'd kept working full-time, but we're still doing okay. We can afford vacations without worrying about how much we're spending (within reason), and we can splurge on a nice dinner out when we feel like it.

  21. Too bad - I'm answering it anyway. Let's see... No original members left. Hasn't put out any new material in over 2000 years. Yep - it's a cover church. (At least the current lead singer sounds more like the original than most of his predecessors did.)
