Pretty much the same stuff that goes on in most big cities.
I live about 90 miles from The Loop and I have no qualms about going into the city. Been there many times and enjoyed my visits. Like any city, there are places that should be avoided, but I've never felt unsafe in downtown Chicago.
You know the phrase "Money can't buy happiness." Well, that's true, but poverty can impede happiness.
In the same vein, a good running game probably won't win a SB, but a lousy running game will decrease the odds of doing so.
I don't follow college football so I had no opinions on the draft. But based on preseason and regular-season games, I saw potential.
In retrospect, though, Rodgers obviously would have been a better choice. I do wonder whether he'd have been as good with our staff (at the time) as he turned out to be in GB.
J.P. Losman. I still think that with better coaching, he could've been at least a middle-of-the-road QB.
On the flip side, I never thought Trent Edwards would amount to anything in the league, so I was right about that.
