I agree. In both cases, there wasn't conclusive evidence to overturn. If the calls on the field had been the opposite, I think both would have stood, for the same reason.

I was semi-watching the game with indifference until EJ came in. Then I was rooting for him to pull off the win. He made some great throws on the previous drive, including two perfect TD passes that were dropped. It's not his fault he was overdrafted, but he's a good kid who embraced the team, the community, and the fans. As long as he doesn't play for NE, MIA, NYJ, or Dallas, I'll root for him unless his team losing would help the Bills.

Wins are determined by scores, not yards. Where it matters, the Bills have the #1 defense. Sorry if that blew your mind.

Agreed. Not just play calling, but communication and situational awareness too. There was one communication breakdown on the TD, but that was the only one. The past two seasons, that stuff was happening 15 times a game.

Maybe. If McD works out - and so far it's looking very good - then the "Rexperiment" may have just been a detour rather than a wrong turn.

Same. After the Carolina game, I said there's no way the Bills end up 2-2 after 4 weeks. Well, I was sorta right, but I have to admit, I was expecting us to be 1-3, not 3-1. I stand corrected, and I'm thrilled that my prediction was wrong. \ We're six inches away from being 4-0, and the one team that (barely) beat us just put up 33 points in a victory over the pats*. Who woulda thunk it?
