  1. Even better - a double-blind experiment. Get one of them drunk. Then the fans get to guess which one it is.
  2. Ever see "Drunk History"? Picture that, but with fans announcing football.
  3. I laughed my ass off when he said that. I was thinking, "Yeah, and Shady is most dangerous when he has the ball."
  4. A lot of people don't control it - that's one problem. The other problem is that many people don't even recognize it. "I'm not biased - I just have strong opinions and I don't care about empirical evidence to the contrary."
  5. Agreed. Inconclusive - let it stand.
  6. The ball moved, but did it hit the ground or was his hand under it?
  7. Ditto. I know they're ornery after a loss, but if they beat the Steelers, they'll seal the division and, for all practical purposes, the #1 seed.
  8. Either way they need a FG and a TD w/ 2PC. Take the most likely score first, so you give yourself a chance. Go for it and not make it and the game is over. Gase made the right call.
  9. Agreed. I thought she did a decent job, other than saying "McCoy" when she meant Taylor - twice. The play-by-play wasn't bad, and she did pretty well in analyzing situations and critiquing the officials. She's not as good as Nantz, but she's better than anyone on Fox. (I can't stand Joe Buck.)
  10. Kind of ironic that he made the tackle on the run that put Shady over 10k yards.
  11. Preston better buy Tre White a nice dinner for sealing the game.
  12. I think Haynesworth was the first.
  13. He 'splained it, Lucy. ;-) I didn't agree with the decision or the "essplanation," but the bottom line is that we won the game. Once you choose a path, you'll never know what was on a different path - it's possible that it was the right call.
  14. The XFL: where concussions are encouraged and CTE is a badge of honor.
  15. It's a Zen koan. You know, like "Can an omnipotent deity create a rock that's too heavy for the deity to lift?" But in this case it's, "Can an inept coach create a game plan that's so smart that the coach himself can't understand it?"
  16. As if he had a choice...
  17. I know that was a joke, but now that he's spent a few years as the QB coach in Green Bay ("QB University"), learning from McCarthy, he might actually become a decent OC. He didn't exactly have a good role model in Buffalo.
  18. He's got the inside track on the job.
  19. If we don't, then the outcome of the LAC/KC game is probably irrelevant as far as our playoff hopes are concerned.
  20. I'm happy with the discipline he's brought to the team, the overall game preparation, and the results he's gotten out of the talent. I question some of his game-time decisions, but I'm hopeful that he'll learn as he goes. He gets a solid B in my gradebook.
  21. The Colts would be better off trading back and acquiring more picks, so they can surround Luck with a better team.
  22. Buffalo is a drinking town with a football problem.
  23. Seems unlikely. Their backup has played well, yet they had to go to OT to beat the winless Browns. Rodgers is great, but he's not good enough to carry a team that can barely beat the Browns without him. The NFC wildcard race looks tougher than the AFC race. The Bills could get in at 9-7, but the Pack will need to win out and then get some help. All that adds up to no Packers in the playoffs this year.
  24. The password is TONIGHT. The clue is HEARTACHE.
  25. At this point, RGIII is a poor man's Tyrod Taylor. One of them will be in the league next year, and it's more likely that it's TT.
