  1. I agree. Tyrod has one year left on his contract - no reason to have him start over with a new system, when clearly he's not the long-term solution.
  2. "Say 'Hello' to my leetle friend!"
  3. Interesting - I hadn't heard that before. I just know that he was a Browns and Indians fan for as long as I can remember. He'd sit by the radio and listen to 3WE (WWWE) out of Cleveland to hear Indians games (with a lot of static) on the radio, since they weren't on TV very often. Jamestown was about the limit of that station's reach - on a good day. He also rooted for the Bills, as long as they weren't playing the Browns. Likewise, I rooted for the Browns unless they were playing the Bills. Dad was okay with that.
  4. For me, at least, it's not about protectionism - it's about giving away a home game and forcing teams to travel overseas to play. If it were baseball, with 150+ games in a season, then it's not that big of a deal. But when a team gives up 12.5% of its home games, in a league where one game can make all the difference, it's unfair. I also hate watching my team play at 10:00AM local time.
  5. Love: Bills Like: Packers Soft spot: Browns (My Dad was a Browns fan, since the Bills didn't exist when he was growing up. My older siblings and their kids are all Browns fans too.) Mildly dislike: Ravens (because they stole the Browns from Cleveland), Titans (you know why) Hate: pats, Dolphins, Cowboys, Jets, Steelers (combination of division rivalries and arrogant fans - both, in the case of the pats)
  6. NFL = NATIONAL Football League. (Yeah, I know, the NHL has Canadian teams, but hockey is popular in Canada.)
  7. I enjoyed that too, and yes, it reminded me of the CSM saying that the Bills must never win a Super Bowl.
  8. Better than locking the bathroom door: don't marry a psychopath.
  9. Even if he retires now, I'm sure he'll "Lead the Charge" a few times before his name goes on the WOF.
  10. If he's serious about hitting 10k rushing yards, he's gonna have to play a few more years. ;-)
  11. Nantz said "McCoy" when he was referring to Taylor. It was just once, but I thought it was funny because when a female announcer did it, people got on her case. In general, Nantz is a good play-by-play announcer. Romo is quickly becoming my favorite color guy. One thing I liked about both of them was when they were discussing the final interception and whether it should be overturned. Frankly, I thought it was a clean pick - the ball moved, but it sure looked like his hand was under it. Either way, it wasn't conclusive. Romo said, "Well it's inconclusive, so they shouldn't overturn it." Nantz replied, "They've been doing it all season!" I wonder if he'll get a nasty note from the league for that.
  12. How can someone with "420" in his name be so uptight?
  13. He was my hero when I was a kid. Then he became the reason I stopped idolizing celebrities.
  14. If the Bills don't win 9 games, the Bengals game is irrelevant.
  15. Tim Russert (RIP) was still saying "Go Bills" every Sunday.
  16. Very cool. Many of those similarities are why I root for the Packers - unless they're playing the Bills, of course.
  17. "Mark, you realize that coaching contracts ARE fully guaranteed, right?" "Wait ... WHAT???"
  18. If you like the taste better, that's fine. I don't think that's the case for everyone who does it, though.
  19. "Yes, and a Diet Coke, please." I worked at a Mickey-Ds in college, and I was always amazed at how many people would order a Big Mac, large fries, hot fudge sundae, and a Diet Coke.
  20. With the Browns holding the first pick, I think I'd stay in school rather than risk it.
  21. McD should promise him a few snaps at FB throughout the year.
  22. "Very somber ... quiet. Very low key." Ha!
  23. I think it's Micah Hyde.
