  1. Josh gets the win, Kyle (the closer) gets the save.
  2. Going down the road feeling bad Going down the road feeling bad Going down the road feeling bad, hey hey hey, yeah Don't wanna be treated this a way
  3. That feature came in handy when my internet service crapped out just before the first Bills TD. It came back 10 minutes later so I quickly caught up and saw the rest live.
  4. Oh. I think I'll skip it anyway.
  5. I didn't mean it to sound that way. The defense played great all around. Just giving credit where it's due on that play.
  6. Miami is the bigger threat, so I'm hoping they lose. I'm watching the Cowboys/Jets game because I can't stomach rooting for the Pats*. And it ain't easy rooting the the 'Boys either, but my disdain for NE has surpassed my Dallas hatred.
  7. He gets the glory, but that easy pop fly really fell into his lap. DaQuan Jones deserves the credit for getting into Jimmy G's face and forcing the errant throw. Really, I can't blame Jimmy for either pick. That one was deflected, and Milano's pick was a perfect pass that Milano literally stole out of the receiver's hands. Grand Theft Football.
  8. I think the Bills ran 49+ plays in Raiders territory.
  9. I don't think the hurdle was part of the play call.
  10. 1. We can run the ball, even when the other team knows we're gonna run the ball. 2. Josh can play with discipline when he wants to. 3. Matt Freakin' Milano! 4. Gabe had a spectacular game. 5. A nine-minute sustained drive to open the second half, ending in a TD. 6. McD called a great defense. 7. McD went for it on fourth-and-two, turning a FG attempt into a TD.
  11. I walk a lonely road The only one that I have ever known Don't know where it goes But it's home to me, and I walk alone
  12. Seems I've got to have a change of scene Every night I have the strangest dream Imprisoned by the way it could have been Left here on my own or so it seems
  13. Both of the above. Plus, humans are natural explorers. It's in our DNA. We already live in places that would be uninhabitable without some kind of technology. (The word "technology" means "tools and techniques that enhance human capabilities," so it includes stone-age tech like fire-making, shelter-building, hand axes, spears, etc.) Space is just another frontier to explore. Also, space exploration results in a lot of spin-off technology. A lot of common tech that we take for granted came out as a result of the Apollo program. Finally, and directly applicable to Earth, some of the experiments being run on the ISS are related to finding new drugs that can only be produced in microgravity.
  14. This would be the ONE case where a dome is the only way to ensure a football atmosphere.
  15. He won't. There are no taxpayers up there to fund a stadium.
  16. Blue Collar Jane lives in 54 Always has a teacup when she knocks upon my door She just wants some milk and sugar but all I want is her Blue Collar Jane, my girl, you're causing quite a stir
  17. This may or may not apply to our QB's performance on Monday...
  18. Doctor, my eyes Tell me what you see I hear their cries Just say if it's too late for me
  19. You can get anything you want at Alice's Restaurant You can get anything you want at Alice's Restaurant Walk right in it's around the back Just a half a mile from the railroad track You can get anything you want at Alice's Restaurant
  20. I made a similar comment in another thread. It all comes down to discipline, and Josh played without any. I remember in his first or second season when he threw a bone-headed pick and Daboll went ballistic on him. (I think McD sent Daboll up to the booth for subsequent games.) But that's what Josh needed at the time. Maybe Dorsey should call plays from the sideline and lay into Josh every now and then. We know Dorsey has a temper - Josh needs to see it.
  21. Agreed. All the things Josh said he'd work on - take what the defense gives, don't play hero-ball, protect yourself - all of it went out the window as he reverted back to "sandlot football Josh." I'd stick him in the film room all day and have him watch every boneheaded play he made, followed by an example of a great QB in a similar situation doing it right. Metaphorically, someone needs to take that boy out to the woodshed for a little talkin' to.
  22. Happy birthday! Thanks for providing a great forum for Bills' discussion.
  23. Strap me in, tie down, I'm learning to fly Travel cross the country, I get too *****in high
  24. It was a hot summer night And the beach was burning There was fog crawling over the sand Oh, when I listen to your heart I hear the whole world turning I see the shooting stars falling through your trembling hands
  25. Maybe Fort Erie, just across the border, but not Erie PA - that's a three-hour drive. I don't see why it's a big deal. The Meadowlands is geographically closer to Manhattan than OP is to Buffalo. Yeah, it's technically across a state line, but for all practical purposes, it's a suburb of NYC. That part of Jersey has always been Jets territory anyway. And I'm sure the Jets/Giants didn't lose any fans when they both moved to NJ.
