China lands on far side of the moon...

Flat objects have two sides. I've eaten there. Good food, but no atmosphere. -

The more games you lose, the farther you have to go to become a winning team. -

You haven't watched Star Trek properly until you've heard the dialog in the original Chinese. -
Why is the punter always the PK holder on the Bills?

^ This. Anyone know the stats on KO returns that ended inside the 25? -
I feel the same way about Journey. I can change the station within the first two bars of the song.

Brian May was an astrophysics major in the early 70s. On the side, he played lead guitar in the band Queen. He finished his BS and MS, and then became a full-time musician. About ten years ago, he returned to school, completed his PhD in astrophysics, and became a collaborating scientist on the New Horizons spacecraft mission - the one that passed Pluto a few years ago, and recently encountered Ultima Thule. In honor of the mission, Dr. May wrote and recorded this song.

China lands on far side of the moon...
WhoTom replied to Deranged Rhino's topic in Off the Wall Archives
No. There's a side that doesn't face our planet. When we see a full moon, the side of the moon facing Earth is also facing the sun (our star). During a new moon, the side facing away from Earth is facing the sun. At any given location on the moon, there's about 14 days of sunlight and then 14 days of darkness. -

So you're saying we should re-sign Clay? -
Man, you need to take it easy. Don't let the sound of your own wheels drive you crazy.

Me too. Letterman is the reason I knew who Super Dave was, and he was always a blast - sometimes, quite literally!

Interesting and optimistic point about our final record

More embarrassing ‘true confessions’
WhoTom replied to Ridgewaycynic2013's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Like I said, I was very young. I suppose it was because right after the line, there's a cool guitar riff. Also, my older brother owned the album. For some reason, I thought Tommy was the lead singer, as in "Tommy and The Who." -

When I was very young, I thought that deaf, dumb, and blind kid sure played a mean guitar. -
I get cash back on my credit card, so I use it whenever possible. Two important things: 1) I don't spend more just because I don't see the money exchanging hands, and 2) I pay my entire balance every month so I don't get interest charges. I usually keep $20-$40 in my wallet, but it's rare that I use it.

I don't follow college football, so I really had no opinion about him before the draft. After he was picked and I read all the draft reports and expert analyses, I expected him to be a two-to-three year project, and a risky one at that. Now I see that if he'd had a better team around him, we could be preparing for a playoff game this week. So in that respect, yes, my opinion has changed.

They interviewed a potential replacement named "Amal" but decided against it because ... ... wait for it ... If you've seen Juan, you've seen Amal.
-
I don't see it like that. I think it's more "Any position that can be upgraded will be upgraded, including the coaches." We'll see position upgrades too.

I despise Brady but I'd never advocate taking a cheap shot at him. I do, however, enjoy watching him get leveled cleanly. I wouldn't shed a tear if someone took a cheap shot at Kiko, Gronk, Burfict, or any other cheap shot artist.
-
It was both. EJ should have slid, but the hit they laid on him was cheap.
-
Yeah, Josh was hoping to torch him a couple more times.

So does Kyle Williams. ?

Buffalo needs a complete rebuild on Offense

I don't think he'll be a feature back - I can see a RB by committee approach in 2019, with Shady being used more in the short passing game. His price tag might seem high for a limited role, but given the cap space and the need for veteran leadership, I think he's worth keeping. He's been a model citizen and a great mentor/cheerleader for Josh. But I agree, it's time to find his replacement. Draft a RB in the 2nd or 3rd round and give him a year of splitting time with Shady.
