  1. Eerily prescient: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Monsters_Are_Due_on_Maple_Street
  2. He can make up for it by taking the over on this:
  3. Is he a left-handed clapper or a right-handed clapper?
  4. She's not into the kinky stuff.
  5. A tall Bloody Mary (made from scratch - no mixes) while watching the Bills.
  6. A waterfront view, a beautiful woman, a guitar, and a good beer.
  7. Sorry to hear about your dog. It's never easy to make that decision, but when the pet is in constant discomfort, it's the right thing to do. Sometimes the dog knows it before the people do. And I agree with BuffaloBill about the process.
  8. Talk about polar opposites! Sean Payton calling an onside kick to open the second half of the Super Bowl - playing against Peyton Manning, no less - was arguably the most un-Jauron move the NFL has ever seen.
  9. I agree that the "whole thread" part was hyperbole, but still, there were seven posts before his (and several after) that alluded to her looks. Find a thread about Tony Romo - how many times does someone comment on his looks?
  10. The retractable dome in Toronto stays closed all winter because the open/close mechanism doesn't work in the cold. Assuming the technology is still roughly the same, a retractable dome in Buffalo would also remain closed for the winter.
  11. They didn't. http://www.espn.com/nfl/game?gameId=400951560
  12. Big difference between Rex and McD: the players and owners have bought into McD's plan. Rex was clueless and it was obvious by the end of his second year that he'd lost the team. Why do the players (and the owners) believe in McD and not Rex? Rex took a top-five defense and decimated it. McD took roughly the same players and rode that defense to the playoffs, in spite of having an anemic offense with a gun-shy QB. Then he (and Beane) dumped the dead weight, cleared cap space, drafted what looks to be a competent QB, bolstered the o-line (on paper, at least), improved the WR corps, and still have ten draft picks to spend. Barring a total meltdown, they get at least two more years, and probably three.
  13. The first one - original Sudafed with pseudoephedrine. As someone else noted, you have to show your ID and have your name entered into a national database of Sudafed users. (I'm not sure if I have to go around the neighborhood and warn the neighbors that a Sudafed user lives nearby.)
  14. That's the joke - there's no cure, so all you can do is treat the symptoms. Which Dame did I win?
  15. If you treat a cold, it goes away in about 7 days. If you don't treat it, it takes a week. I take Sudafed to reduce the symptoms (sneezy, runny nose). My wife gets aches and coughs too, so she takes one of the multi-symptom OTC meds. We both take echinacea, vitamin C, and zinc when symptoms start. The science on that is sketchy at best, but it doesn't hurt.
  16. I'll bet it only takes you halfway there.
  17. Two mugs of strong, black, freshly-ground coffee first thing in the morning, and then a mug of green tea with ginseng and honey for a late-morning pick-me-up. (I counted that as twice a day.) No caffeine after that, or I'll have trouble sleeping.
  18. Yeah, nobody wants a woman who fakes a QED.
  19. ... against a Rex Ryan defense.
  20. He's from SoCal and he fits their defense. No surprise here.
