  1. One more time: I'm not saying Fitz is a great QB, but that was arguably his best throw, not some 20-yarder over the middle. You do the math.
  2. What an ass. And no ... I'm not talking about a physical feature.
  3. There's nothing in the universe that's more attractive than a black hole.
  4. Built like a tank. Oh, wait ... I meant their roster.
  5. A Buddhist goes into a pizza place and says, "Make me one with everything."
  6. So if Clay makes the catch in the Miami game, we'd have a better draft position?
  7. Franchise quarterback? Josh confidently replies, "Challenge accepted."
  8. How about if we call it "BPA*"? ?
  9. Modern twist on a Floyd classic:
  10. Indeed. A theory is an explanation of a phenomenon that's thoroughly supported by empirical evidence. Some people use the term "theory" when they really mean "wild-ass guess."
  11. People need to use the built-in security features on their phones. I have an ancient Samsung with facial recognition. It takes an extra two seconds whenever I use the phone (unless I'm answering a call, in which case it doesn't require a login), but it's worth it for the security. And no, I don't have any compromising photos.
  12. In honor of his birthday today:
  13. A lot. The question is, how often does the other GM buy that line? It probably has the same success rate as an onside kick.
  14. TO slowed down slightly, but there was no push-off. And yeah, 50 yards in the air, from his own endzone, with defenders in his face, on an audible. I'm not saying Fitz is a great QB, but that was arguably his best throw, not some 20-yarder over the middle.
  15. TBD should draft some weapons so he can improve his accuracy. ?
  16. My in-laws were in town visiting. They went on a day trip - my wife tries to get them out of the house during games, because her dad is the ultimate Bills pessimist and it gets on my nerves. They returned while I was watching the late game, and when the score scrolled across the bottom of the screen, my wife did a double-take. I just smiled and said, "Best game of the decade."
  17. Last year's defensive stats were good-to-average. Last year's offensive stats were ... offensive, to say the least. Conclusion: Draft offense.
  18. There's a suburb of Cleveland named Willoughby. Every time I pass its exit when I'm driving though I think of that episode.
  19. In the mid-80s, I went to graduate school in Binghamton, which is where Rod Serling grew up. While I was there, the city hosted a Rod Serling festival. One of the speakers was Helen Foley, Serling's high-school English teacher. She's the one who recognized his talent and encouraged him to become a writer. Two TZ characters - both teachers - were named Helen Foley in her honor: one in the series and another in the movie. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nightmare_as_a_Child https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Twilight_Zone:_The_Movie
