  1. Jeez - who pissed in your Grape Nuts? (I would have said Cheerios, but you've obviously outgrown those.)
  2. When I hold you in my arms (ooh, oh, yeah) And I feel my finger on your trigger (ooh, oh, yeah) I know nobody can do me no harm (ooh, oh, yeah)
  3. The challenge is finding anything bulletin-board worthy in that statement. Wait - he said we're just like other fans! That's it, right?
  4. Frank's Red Hot is my signature Bloody Mary ingredient. Ice Horseradish Vodka Tomato Juice or V8 Frank's Worcestershire sauce A few green olives and a spoonful of olive juice Tabasco Celery seed (or a stalk of real celery) That goes better with wings than Pepsi.
  5. It can't be any worse than drinking straight Pepsi.
  6. Monday morning, I just got home Six and the birds are singing I need a drink and my clothes are wet Ooh, and my ears are still ringing
  7. According to some people, that's because we don't have a legit #2 WR. I'm more in the "Josh spreads the ball around so relax about Kinkaid (and Gabe, for that matter)" camp.
  8. Our black lab mix (Shadow) was fifteen. We had to have him put down earlier this year. His ten-year-old brother Rocky (terrier mix) has been lonely, so last week we adopted a ten-year-old beagle. We both prefer labs or goldens, but we wanted something smaller this time. "Stanley" was on sale at the animal shelter, so we figured he was at or near the top of the list to be euthanized, so we decided to rescue him. Rocky and Stanley:
  9. I've seen all good people turn their heads each day So satisfied I'm on my way
  10. Imagine what Edmunds could do in this defense. 😉 (Sorry - couldn't resist.)
  11. So you're saying this could be a <pause for dramatic effect> trap game for the 'Phins?
  12. I might give that a try next week when the Bills play in London.
  13. I'm liking the "running back by committee" philosophy, with Cook being the primary guy and Murray and Harris adding a little change-of-pace.
  14. I can't do the multiview thing - I'm too easily distracted. I like to focus on one game. Although I might flip to another game during a commercial break. If it had been a thing back then, I'd have probably been diagnosed with ADHD.
  15. I was tempted to do the same, but I decided to splurge anyway. I figured that on days when the Bills are on prime time or late Sunday afternoon, at least I can choose which early game to watch.
  16. The combination of NFL Sunday Ticket and NFL+ Premium gets you all the games. (OK, plus an antenna for games that are shown in your area.) The live games on NFL+ Premium can't be viewed on a TV or laptop - only a phone or tablet - but I've found that my 7" tablet in my lap has the same apparent size as my 42" TV across the room.
  17. Even a team-friendly deal would net him tens of millions of dollars - more than enough to set someone up for life. If he's happy with the team and his role, then he may give the Bills a hometown discount. He often talks about listening to his mother, who told him not to chase the money but to be grateful that he's living the dream right now. Milano, Poyer, and others have hit FA and stayed with the Bills even though they could have made more money on the open market. Some players want the ring more than they want the outrageous payday. The question is whether the Bills think he's worth a modest contract extension or if they'll simply let him play out his contract and let him walk without an offer. I think the jury is still out on that one.
  18. Rudy's on a train to nowhere; Halfway down the line He don't wanna get there But he needs time
  19. You've both stated and restated your points several times. Now you're just calling each other stupid for apparently not understanding what the other one is saying. At this point, neither is adding anything to the discussion.
  20. Every time someone makes a joke about Edmunds' youth, the Patriots* get a compensatory pick.
  21. How about if the two of you who are tossing insults at each other take it offline?
  22. It's not a generational thing, necessarily. You also wouldn't hear it from Allen, Mahomes, Burrow, etc. In all cases, those guys have not only fire, but talent, as well as quality players and coaches to support them. Fields' talent is questionable; the quality of the team around him is dubious at best. Fields' existential tweet suggests that he's not confident in himself or his team, so he's just happy having had the opportunity to play at the NFL level. It's easy to say that knowing that you're financially set for life, even if you never get another contract. And he most certainly will get another contract - if nothing else, as a backup somewhere. I could see him moving three hours north and backing up Jordan Love.
