  1. Agreed. As long as he performs on the field, I'd be willing to overpay to keep him on the team. A guy like that raises team morale and inspires others to be better players. You can overpay your franchise QB and maybe one other guy on the team - when the time comes, I think Tre will be the other guy.
  2. In retrospect, I'm glad they hired Rex when they did. Although he set the franchise back a few years, it set the stage for the current front office, and they've rebounded quite nicely. Sometimes, a mistake is the best thing that can happen to you.
  3. Remember when all we had to talk about in December was next year's draft? I don't miss those days.
  4. Can you imagine Jauron - the guy who moved practice indoors whenever the weather was bad - playing "Renegade" in practice all week to prepare the team for game-time conditions? Anyone who thinks McD is ANYTHING like Jauron is simply not paying attention.
  5. I'm not big on trash-talking other teams' fans, but your response to her was perfect. Just perfect. And thanks for another great write-up. Been looking for it all week!
  6. It's when the home team plays its "intimidation" song and the visiting team steals the energy and scores the game-winning TD.
  7. Two-point Conversion After the Ravens game I was thinking that this team might be good enough to win a playoff game. After the Steelers game I started thinking that this team might be good enough to win it all. I know it's a long shot, but any team that watched Sunday night's game should be concerned with facing the Bills.
  8. Now I don't know but I been told It's hard to run with the weight of gold Other hand I have heard it said It's just as hard with the weight of lead
  9. If Josh didn't go all gunslinger against the pats* the first time, there's a good chance we'd be leading the division right now. We still have a chance to retake it, so no, don't sacrifice this game for his development. Instead, use the game to show him how to win with a balanced approach, just like we did in the Steelers game.
  10. You were under the impression That when you were walking forwards You'd end up further onward But things ain't quite that simple You got altered information You were told to not take chances You missed out on new dances Now you're losing all your dimples
  11. Generally not a fan of Christmas music, but a few years ago someone gave me The Jethro Tull Christmas Album and it's pretty good. If my wife requests Christmas music, that's what I put on.
  12. I was worried at first, but once I saw the replay, I figured it was a stinger. I didn't see anything that would indicate a a break, tear, or separation. So to answer your question, no - my underwear remained unsoiled throughout the game.
  13. I've gotta admit, in real time, I thought he jumped too soon. Seeing that replay and freezing it around the 0:15 mark, I realize he timed it perfectly.
  14. Does Fitz have a Foundation that needs an extra half-million dollars or so?
  15. Well my mama told me, my papa told me too Now my mama told me, papa told me too Well I shouldn't be here tryin' to sing these railroad blues Wish I had listened what my mama said Wish I had listened what my mama said Well I wouldn't be here tryin' to sleep in this cold iron bed
  16. You know her daddy gave her magic I can tell by the way she walks Her daddy gave her magic, I can tell by the way she walks Every time she start to shakin' The dumb begin to talk
  17. This ain't no party, this ain't no disco, This ain't no fooling around This ain't no Mudd Club, or CBGB, I ain't got time for that now
  18. My son took a job at an AT&T call center in the summer of 2018. DirecTV customers were complaining about their rates being raised without their prior knowledge, and his job was to explain to them that the company did, indeed, tell them in advance about the rate hike. Turns out, it was in the super-fine print that nobody reads on their monthly bill. He quit after six weeks because he empathized with the customers and didn't want to work for an a-hole company.
