I saw KC get off to a slow start with Mahomes missing some easy throws. Then came the 4th quarter heroics to pull off a win in the last few minutes.
Sound familiar?
The telephone was ringing
That's when I handed it to Liz
She said, "This isn't who it would be
If it wasn't who it is"
It's the wolfman's brother
The wolfman's brother
Comin' down on me
So excuse me forgetting
But these things I do
You see I've forgotten
If they're green or they're blue
Anyway, the thing is, what I really mean
Yours are the sweetest eyes I've ever seen
Cast my memory back there, Lord
Sometimes I'm overcome thinking 'bout
Making love in the green grass
Behind the stadium with you
My brown-eyed girl
You, my brown-eyed girl
I never read it in a book
I never saw it on a show
But I heard it in the alley
On a weird radio
If you want a drink of water
You got to get it from a well
If you want to get to heaven
You got to raise a little hell
With all the money that flies around in the NFL, I wonder if anyone ever considered hiring an entry-level coach whose sole responsibility is to advise the HC on clock management, like they have someone in the replay booth advising him on challenges. During the week, they'd study film with a focus on clock management.
So I don't feel alone
Or the weight of the stone
Now that I've found somewhere safe
To bury my bone
And any fool knows a dog needs a home
A shelter from pigs on the wing
