People say I'm no good and crazy as a loon
'Cause I get stoned in the morning
And get drunk in the afternoon
Kinda like my old blue tick hound
I like to lay around in the shade
And I ain't got no money but I damn sure got it made
Strap me in, tie me down, and roll me a bone
I'm gettin' on an airplane, and I'm flyin' home
Strap me in, tie me down, I'm learning to fly
Travel cross the country, I get too ****in' high
Hey, hey, mama, what's the matter here
You didn't have to make me a total disgrace
You didn't have to leave me with that beer in my face
Hey, hey, mama, what's the matter here
That's alright, it's awful dog-gone clear
I was born in a cross-fire hurricane
And I howled at the morning driving rain
But it's all right now, in fact, it's a gas
But it's all right, Jumpin' Jack Flash
It's a gas, gas, gas
I was taking a class a few years ago, and in an off-topic discussion, this movie was mentioned. One student said they hated it. The professor responded in a very authoritative, professorial voice, "Well - there are ways to see that movie, and there are ... better ways to see that movie."
Half of the class laughed, and the others just had a puzzled look on their faces.
The first thing I remember
I was lying in my bed
I couldn't have been no more
Than one or two
I remember there's a radio
Comin' from the room next door
And my mother laughed
The way some ladies do
When it's late in the evening
And the music's seeping through
But let me get to the point, let's roll another joint
And turn the radio loud, I'm too alone to be proud
You don't know how it feels
You don't know how it feels to be me
Yep. We've been married for 32 years, and I left my full-time job to freelance almost two years ago. So far, no lawyers or weapons have been necessary. ?
I can pull up by the curb,
I can make it on the road,
Goin' mobile
I can stop in any street
And talk with people that we meet
Goin' mobile
Keep me moving
