  1. When I saw the post-game interview last night I was thinking, "What resolution TV would you need in order to read Josh's wristband?"
  2. There's another thread with a ground-level view of the play. You can see the fans going nuts.
  3. Great post, Virgil. Your comment about Frazier and the defensive game plan was spot on. I'll extend that to the offense, too. We have weaknesses on both sides of the ball (like all teams), and many times those weaknesses play right into an opponent's strengths. But something I've noticed throughout the season is that the game plan somehow manages to hide the weaknesses. Our coaching staff is dictating the way the game will be played. In an age of player parity, that's huge.
  4. Nice write-up, as usual, Shaw. And I just realized what's been missing from the Rockpile Review this season: the stadium experience. Glad to have you back to full strength, as it were.
  5. Me too. I'd be pissed at the defender for his lack of discipline.
  6. In my younger days, I could get doinked twice in one night, but not anymore. Wait ... what are we talking about again?
  7. I haven't seen the goalposts swaying in the wind like that since the infamous snow game against the Browns. No doubt, the wind affected those kicks big time.
  8. It's one thing if the defender just bumps into him because of inertia, but in this case, he extended his arms and actually pushed Josh. Yeah, it was a minor shove, but it was well after the ball was in the air and totally unnecessary. The call was right. The defender should have been more disciplined.
  9. That's the problem. He gets paid to talk and he's not particularly good at it.
  10. One summer day She went away She gone an left me She gone to stay But now she gone And I don't worry 'Cause I'm sittin' on top of the world
  11. And I thank my lucky stars That you are who you are And not just another lovely lady Set out to break my heart
  12. London calling to the faraway towns Now war is declared and battle come down London calling to the underworld Come out of the cupboard, you boys and girls
  13. Well, I'm certainly glad the Ravens didn't draft him. Now that he's here, I think Diggs feels the same. Josh grew up as a Niners fan and played college ball a couple of hours from Denver. When asked how he felt about both those teams passing on him, he simply responded, "I'm where I'm supposed to be."
  14. Magically bored On a quiet street corner Free frustration In our minds and our toes Quiet storm water M-m-my generation Uppers and downers Either way blood flows
  15. As I walk through this wicked world Searchin' for light in the darkness of insanity I ask myself, "Is all hope lost? Is there only pain and hatred and misery?" And each time I feel like this inside There's one thing I wanna know What's so funny 'bout peace, love and understanding?
  16. I don't know, but when it happened, it occurred to me that Josh is the best hard count specialist we've had since ... EJ. 🙂
  17. Freedom's just another word for nothin' left to lose Nothin' ain't worth nothin' but it's free.
  18. He's old enough to know what's right And young enough not to choose it He's noble enough to win the world But weak enough to lose it
  19. I thought it was so he'd stop yelling at Josh on the sideline. 😉
  20. OK - I thought it was the "Do you believe in miracles?" Olympic hockey game. I agree with you about his Buffalo comment. I can't see Al making that kind of remark.
  21. No. In the Miracle game, the US was the underdog. In Saturday's game, the Ravens are the underdog. No miracles, please.
  22. Many years ago, I was at a trade show. One company was giving away these little booklets whose cover said, "The Kinglsey Report on What Men Know About Women." Inside, there were 8 blank pages.
