  1. If by "funny" you mean, "Wow, that guy doesn't know a damn thing about physics," then yeah, it was funny. There may have been a time when I would have found that amusing, but I've had it with idiots lecturing on subjects as if they were experts, when they have neither the creds nor the critical thinking ability to back it up. Millen should stay in his lane.
  2. Ooh baby, here I am Signed, sealed, delivered I'm yours
  3. Not true! I saw a lot of teal in the stands. Oh, wait ... those were empty seats.
  4. A casual glance at this thread would indicate that Matt hasn't interviewed everybody.
  5. The physics lesson was one of the dumbest things I've ever heard from a football announcer. (I've heard dumber science "lessons" from politicians, but I won't go there.) First of all, it's Newton, not Einstein. Secondly, he said "It's mass, not weight." Dude, mass and weight are directly proportional; more mass means more weight. And the concept isn't relativity, it's momentum.
  6. Short, high-percentage passes are exactly what he needs to get in the groove. I agree that it doesn't come naturally to him, but three years ago, his game was to run whenever he got pressured. He quickly learned to be patient, buy time, and let the play develop. Josh has shown the ability to adapt and change his game when necessary. A dink and dunk offense moves the chains and keeps the opposing offense off the field, which is pretty important when you're going through the likes of KC on the way to the Super Bowl.
  7. Am I the only one who thinks Josh should have been pulled at 28-0? Yeah, 12 minutes left, but it was pretty much in the bag at that point. Why risk him?
  8. I get it - you want a guy who can throw a pass on a fake punt. But a fake punt typically works when it's well-disguised and results in a wide open receiver, in which case you don't really need an accurate QB, just a guy who can throw a football in the general vicinity of the receiver. (See the Bills-Pats* game from last season.) Any personal protector (or punter, for that matter) can make throws like that. In fact, Brian Moorman has a higher career passer rating than any Bills QB in history, thanks to a couple of fake punts and fake FGs.
  9. Jenny said when she was just five years old There was nothin' happ'nin' at all Every time she puts on the radio There was nothin' goin' down at all, not at all Then one fine morning, she puts on a New York station You know, she don't believe what she heard at all She started shaking to that fine, fine music You know, her life was saved by rock and roll
  10. Jackson Pollock was an artist whose "technique" was to dip brushes into random buckets of paint and spatter it all over the canvas. Graham's article seems like Jackson Pollock style coaching.
  11. They should've played "Renegade" in the stadium to confuse the Steelers.
  12. After a win, I'm here almost immediately. After a loss, it's at least a few hours or maybe even the next day.
  13. Try to keep it above 20% as a general rule. Frequently dropping below that will shorten its life.
  14. I staggered back to the underground And the breeze blew back my hair I remember throwin' punches around And preachin' from my chair
  15. Spend my days with a woman unkind Smoked my stuff and drank all my wine Made up my mind, make a new start Goin' to California with an achin' in my heart
  16. Sun lights up the daytime Moon lights up the night I light up when you call my name And you know I'm gonna treat you right You give me fever
  17. Agreed. they overpayed for the team (about 40% above the appraised value) to ensure they'd get it and keep it in Buffalo, and they'll be flexible on the stadium for the same reason. With that said, they'll probably play the "we overpayed to keep the team here" card with some degree of success. In the end, the funding will be somewhere around the 50/50 mark, with negotiations to determine exactly where the line between public and private financing is drawn.
  18. Turn him into a CB and let him compete with Levi. He knows how to look for the ball.
  19. Well, the Ukraine girls really knock me out They leave the West behind And Moscow girls make me sing and shout That Georgia's always on my mi-mi-mi-mi-mi-mi-mi-mi-mind
  20. Moorman has a higher career passer rating than any Bills QB in history.
  21. Why don't we do it in the road? No one will be watching us Why don't we do it in the road?
