  1. You'll get no argument from me on that, but that's how the uberwealthy operate. Money is power, so they pull the strings and they get the breaks.
  2. Just the two of us We can make it if we try
  3. FYI for those of you in the area... https://www.buffalobills.com/news/lorenzo-alexander-30-bills-legends-set-to-return-for-sunday-s-game-bills-today Snip:
  4. Now STHs can say, "I bought stock in A.J. Epenesa. I liked it so much, I bought stock in the whole team!"
  5. True. We got Jerry just before he peaked and he's played at a high level since. Career-wise, Shady was just good as Jerry at his respective position, but most of that was in Philly. We got him on the down side of his career. It was still a steal, but mostly because Kiko didn't play well for them at all.
  6. I'm not crazy about the PSL concept (although I'm not a STH, so it doesn't affect me either way), but you do make a good point. And if there are 50k people in the area willing to pay it, then it's cool for them.
  7. Chicago was founded by people from NYC who thought, "We like New York's congested streets and crime, but it's just not cold enough here." Just kidding. We live about 80 miles from The Loop and we always enjoy our visits to the city. It's actually pretty clean and if you stay away from certain areas, it's quite safe.
  8. Congrats to Shady on a great career, and thanks for being a bright spot on the Bills for a few seasons.
  9. The doctor came in Stinking of gin And proceeded to lie on the table.
  10. When I saw the title, I thought, "Did EJ bet against himself?" When I read the article, I saw the answer was "Yes. Yes he did."
  11. It's not rare - it's called a slump. Everyone has them, and most professionals recover. I realize Josh hasn't played up to last year's standard, but I'm confident that he'll get over it soon. He's shown us plenty of examples of how he learns from mistakes and moves forward. He'll do it again. Like Aaron Rodgers (who also has slumps) said: R-E-L-A-X.
  12. Expected results: A roughing the passer penalty Epenesa gets ejected from the game and is fined an entire year's salary Officials declare the entire Bills team "ineligible" and declare the Bucs the SB champs and Brady the MVP The Pats* get a compensatory draft pick ... just because.
  13. Was the content of dubious value or interest? It's fine to disagree with the article's content or to question the author's sources, but I don't see how it fits the "click bait" definition. That's what I was asking. In what way is it click bait?
  14. What's "click bait" about it? The title is descriptive and the article is researched and well-written.
  15. Come on, come on, come on, come on Now touch me, babe Can't you see that I am not afraid?
  16. That was the moment when my attitude about Josh went from "It might be" to "It could be." The Thanksgiving victory in Dallas was the "It IS!" moment.
  17. This one is good, too, albeit a bit optimistic: Something tells me the FL people partying that night will be on the gulf coast, not the southeastern tip.
  18. Early in the morning, risin' to the street Light me up that cigarette and I strap shoes on my feet Got to find a reason, a reason things went wrong Got to find a reason why my money's all gone I got a dalmatian, and I can still get high I can play the guitar like a mother****ing riot
  19. Shouldn't that post be in PPP? 😉 Once you vote and it shows the tally (as a percentage) so far, it says "Refresh the page to vote again." I'm guessing they wouldn't encourage you to vote more than once if they were discarding the extras.
