  1. I agree, but that's all the more reason to use technology, including replay, to get the calls right. Given what you wrote, there's no reason for the officials to be ashamed when the replay shows that they blew a call, so they should be willing to overturn those calls without losing face. When presented with evidence, it's better to admit having been wrong than to double-down on a mistake. The league needs to make that clear, otherwise the replay process will continue to be, to a certain extent, a joke.
  2. Your memory is accurate. That play was Wilfork being Wilfork.
  3. Bojo may be a lousy holder, but GB's long-snapper didn't do the team any favors yesterday. In addition to two bad snaps on place kicks, he had a really low snap on a punt.
  4. I try not to engage in schadenfreude, but I do appreciate a healthy dose of karma.
  5. All penalties should be challengable, and the final decision should be made by an official in NY, not the ref who's reluctant to overturn a call from his officiating crew. I know we hate the delays caused by challenges, but each coach still only gets 2 per game, so it's not a big deal. And some of these calls are so blatantly wrong that they need to be corrected.

  9. Even if I didn't despise NE, I always root against a division opponent, especially when they play an NFC team - even if said team is the Cowboys. It's different if the division opponent is already eliminated from the playoff picture, but we're not there yet.

Boogie on reggae woman, what you tryin' to do?
  12. Good point. Let's say a perfect pass, hitting Diggs in stride, would have been 2 yards further. That's less than a 4% error. Not too shabby.
  13. I remember when we had Moulds and Price during one of Bledsoe's good years. Moulds was clearly the #1, which got him double-covered a lot. He was cool with being the decoy and letting Peerless get more catches, as long as they were winning games. A winner wants to win games, not stats. Stefon is a winner. I was happy with the trade when it happened, and I'm even happier with the results.
