We saw them twice in 2019 - both outstanding shows! They're doing the orchestra thing again, so I assume the same setlist, more or less: heavy on Tommy and Quadrophenia with a few other gems (and crowd-pleasers, like Baba O'Riley). They traveled with their normal touring band, plus a conductor, first cellist, and first violinist, but the rest of the orchestra was made of orchestral musicians from whatever city they were playing. They got the sheet music in advance, but only one rehearsal with the touring band a few hours before the show. As someone who appreciates classical music as well as rock, I was doubly amazed at the musicianship from both the orchestra and the rock band.
They're not what they used to be, but they still put on a damn fine show.
