  1. Check out this young lady on the song that Neil said was the most difficult song for him to play:
  2. If life were easy and not so fast I wouldn't think about the past I can't forget to turn the earth so both sides get their share of darkness And of light
  3. If you took all the girls I knew when I was single And brought 'em all together for one night I know they'd never match my sweet imagination Everything looks worse in black and white
  4. Sometimes I use it in the house. It's handy for those living room remodeling projects.
  5. As I was walkin' 'round Grosvenor Square Not a chill to the winter but a nip to the air From the other direction, she was calling my eye It could be an illusion, but I might as well try, might as well try
  6. The gypsy woman told my mother Before I was born I got a boy child coming He's gonna be a son of a gun
  7. Happy Jack wasn't tall, but he was a man He lived in the sand at the Isle of Man
  8. Down with disease And I'm up before the dawn A thousand barefoot children outside Dancing on my lawn
  9. There she stood in the doorway; I heard the mission bell. And I was thinking to myself, 'This could be Heaven or this could be Hell'
  10. Never gonna give you up Never gonna let you down Never gonna run around and desert you Never gonna make you cry Never gonna say goodbye Never gonna tell a lie and hurt you
  11. Got no time for spreadin' roots The time has come to be gone And though our health we drank a thousand times It's time to ramble on
  12. Never judge a band by its SB performance. For one thing, all the instruments are pre-recorded. Only the vocals are live.
  13. I'm gonna wait 'til the midnight hour That's when my love come tumbling down I'm gonna wait 'til the midnight hour When there's no one else around I'm gonna take you, girl, and hold you And do all things I told you, in the midnight hour
  14. In olden days, a glimpse of stocking Was looked on as something shocking But now, God knows Anything goes
  15. '82. I was there. The rain stopped right at the end of the song. At that point, Roger said, "I'll bet The Stones can't do that."
  16. We saw them twice in 2019 - both outstanding shows! They're doing the orchestra thing again, so I assume the same setlist, more or less: heavy on Tommy and Quadrophenia with a few other gems (and crowd-pleasers, like Baba O'Riley). They traveled with their normal touring band, plus a conductor, first cellist, and first violinist, but the rest of the orchestra was made of orchestral musicians from whatever city they were playing. They got the sheet music in advance, but only one rehearsal with the touring band a few hours before the show. As someone who appreciates classical music as well as rock, I was doubly amazed at the musicianship from both the orchestra and the rock band. They're not what they used to be, but they still put on a damn fine show.
  17. Dance all night, play all day Don't let nothin' get in the way Dance all night, keep the beat Don't you worry 'bout two left feet Shake it up
  18. So we drilled it out so that it would fit And with a little bit of help with an adapter kit We had that engine runnin' just like a song Now the headlight' was another sight We had two on the left and one on the right But when we pulled out the switch all three of 'em come on
  19. Al is the best play-by-play announcer in the game right now, and one of the best ever. He's losing a step with age, as they say, but I'd still rather listen to him than Nantz or Buck. (Nantz isn't bad unless Brady is involved in the game. I can't stand Buck.) Tirico is a good choice to replace Michaels. Collinsworth, I can totally live without.
  20. Just because you can, doesn't mean you should.
  21. We watched the first two episodes of "Reacher" on Amazon Prime. I never read the books and never saw the movie with Tom Cruise, so I had no preconceived notions going in. It seems pretty good so far. Reacher is a retired military officer who travels around the country as sort of a vigilante. If you remember "Kung Fu" with David Carradine, it's similar. We've also been watching "1883" on Paramount+. If you like westerns, you'll like this.
  22. Headed out on a Greyhound Just turned twenty-one Went to see what could be found Beneath the Western sun
  23. You skipped the most important part: why do they call you "Big Pat"?
