  2. That's usually when we see our first Orioles, too. Some friends in Rockton IL (about 20 miles WNW of us) reported seeing their first today. Every year when they come around, they land on our deck railing, right next to where we mount the feeder. That's our cue to put the feeder out.
  3. Overhead the albatross hangs motionless upon the air And deep beneath the rolling waves in labyrinths of coral caves The echo of a distant time comes willowing across the sand And everything is green and submarine
  4. I sat on the roof and kicked off the moss Well, a few of the verses, well, they've got me quite cross But the sun's been quite kind while I wrote this song It's for people like you that keep it turned on
  5. When George Harrison offered several actual songs, complete with lyrics and melodies, John and Paul told him, "There's no room on the album for them." But somehow they found room for Revolution 9. I can see why George was pissed off about that.

  16. There's a difference between "like" and "root for." I like the person, I root for the uniform. I like Josh because he's a good human being; I root for him because he wears a Bills' uniform. Put him in a different uniform, and the first part of that sentence remains true.
