I watched the game live on my tablet through NFL+ Premium. Other than a few minor glitches, the stream was perfect. And taking perspective into account, a 7" tablet sitting on my lap looks bigger than a 42" TV across the room. Added bonus: my wife had to sit really close to me in order to watch the game. 🙂 I heard ESPN was going to do the split-screen thing with two games; luckily they only did it a few times and just once or twice during a play.

Two games in and we're only in second place in the division. 😉

I was just getting old enough to pay attention to football when OJ was reaching his prime. He was my first celebrity hero. Shortly after he retired - I was probably in high school at the time - we started hearing reports of police being called to his house on suspicion of domestic violence. If it happens once, then maybe you give him the benefit of the doubt and assume that an argument got loud, maybe a door was slammed, and the neighbors overreacted and called the cops. But this happened several times, so at some point, I had to assume that he was a wife-beater. All respect lost. That's when I decided not to idolize celebrities anymore. After the murders, when he was threatening to commit suicide, all I could think was, "Do it and save the criminal justice system a bunch of money."

This is my third year using the ST streaming package (using my son's college email) and I never had this problem in the two prior years. I ended up watching the NE-PIT and CIN-DAL games on my local stations.

I'm trying to watch the Giants-Panthers game but the Sunday Ticket stream absolutely sucks this week. Their website is bad too - can't even initiate a chat to tell them about it. I had that happen last year with Sling. (I did a free trial sub so I could get a Bills MNF game.) I could watch on my laptop, but when I attached an HDMI cable it told me I didn't have permission to do that.

Yeah, as long as you keep the app open. I've done it with the TicketBastard app a few times. I know there was no signal because I normally keep my data minutes turned off unless I absolutely need to do something online and I'm away from home or a trusted WiFi. (I have a cheap phone plan.)

Now that you know, you'll have to be ... "silenced."

I open the ticket app at home using my WiFi signal, and just leave it open in the background..
