Do I want McDermott canned? Yes. But of course I want the Bills to win. Root for the division winners in the other 3 divisions to win out (except when they play the Bills). That should help each week make the odds a bit better

My reading isn't that anyone blamed Daboll, it's that he and McDermott didn't see eye to eye, which is why he jumped at the HC opportunity.

Hard to blame him for TOs like this one. If his guys would catch the ball, he'd have fewer of them. Other turnovers are bad. The 2nd pick vs. the Broncos was the exact same route that was picked versus the Bengals. Only hmdifference was it was Harty instead of Gabe. National media acting like Josh is the main or only problem is asinine though. McDermott and Dorsey messed with his confidence. It's up to Joe Brady to bring it back to life.

Disagree on selling Murray. Cook should not have been benched, but Murray & Cook were both effective running. If anything, seeing occasional 2 back sets with both of them would be a nice wrinkle for the team to add. When both guys are a threat to run or catch it makes the offense less predictable. Murray had 9 carries for 68 yards and Cook 12 for 102. If they had just run the ball more they would have won the game easily.

If the Bills had a good head coach they'd be 7-3 or 8-2 this year, despite all the mistakes. 1. Taking the ball in OT versus the Jets. Much better to know what you need (FG or TD) by letting the Jets go first. Instead they punted and give up a TD to lose. 2. Folding like a lawn chair versus New England after they got the lead. Poor clock management, including not accepting a penalty to make it 1st and goal. That would have either let the Bills burn at least 45 more seconds of clock, or made the Pats use their timeouts on defense (instead of saving them for the winning drive). 3. Bengals game - not calling a timeout and then trying a Hail Mary before halftime when they were just out of FG range. Calling defensive timeouts and allowing a 3rd/4th down conversion after each timeout without fail. His defensive TOs never work, buthe calls them anyway. Plus wasting a challenge/TO on a play that wouldn't have been a 1st down and would have wasted time they needed to catch up. 4. Broncos - calling the same blitz on 3rd and long when they were out of FG range and had trouble converting 3rd downs all game. Wasting defensive TOs when no matter what the Broncos could run the clock down. Then 12 guys on defense, where even if they realized it, the couldn't call TO since he had wasted them. Just backbreaking mistake after mistake. P.s. Don't get me started on "complimentary football". He needs to go ASAP.

I tweeted his daughter and asked her to ask him to fire McDermott. Then Dorsey got canned 12 hours later. I know it's not realistically the reason it happened, but sometimes I wish it was that easy 😜
