  1. Yeah I should have used the vague title "Favorite Movies" with no limit. I could probably name 15-20 to be honest.
  2. I thought last year's season (I haven't seen the most recent one) was excellent. Charlie invoking Bird Law was side-splitting.
  3. Game of Thrones if you can deal with a lot of sex and violence. It's a pretty brutal show.
  4. "I am not Mr. Lebowski. You're Mr. Lebowski, I'm the Dude. So that's what you call me ya know? Either that or His Dudeness. Or, uh, Duder. Or El Duderino, if you're not into the whole brevity thing." I had to rewatch it the second it ended.
  5. Other than the three AFCE teams, definitely the Steelers. Fans are so obnoxious and spoiled but somehow they find things to b***h about anyway. According to them, Tomlin is an awful coach who has held this team back from winning multiple more titles. This. I certainly haven't been angrier at any other team than the Bills.
  6. How could I have forgotten The Big Lebowski? My favorite comedy.
  7. Since we have a top 5 favorite TV shows, I thought we'd do top 5 favorite movies. Mine: 1.) Goodfellas- I personally think it's Scorsese's best, but Taxi Driver and Raging Bull also contend for that title. Really shows the dark world of the mob and doesn't hold back. 2.) The Shawshank Redemption- So uplifting and just a great story. Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman steal the show. 3.) The Empire Strikes Back- Best of the Star Wars movies. Enough said there. 4.) Memento- The narrative structure is so unique and after watching it you'll be forced to watch it again because your mind is blown. 5.) Edward Scissorhands- Quirky and lovable. It's a 90s, suburban take on the Frankenstein/Outsider story.
  8. I saw that right after the Oscars. It was excellent and also very tragic. Probably one of the best documentaries I've ever seen.
  9. Just finished the People vs O.J. Simpson. Amazing.
  10. I have to reiterate the great coaching job Beilein has done given everything that's happened to that team. I wouldn't want WVU to play them right now. Good to see another WNY native succeeding in the tournament.
  11. Since I've been a fan, far too many. Flowers, Williams, Whitner, Maybin, Manuel. Take your pick.
  12. I like Godwin from Penn State. If Kupp falls to the third, I'd be happy with that.
  13. That would be a bigger salvage job than the Titanic.
  14. Of the nine ACC teams, only one made it to the Sweet Sixteen. Terrible tournament for them.
  15. They may be stacked but they don't have a lot of depth. Self pretty much rolls with six guys. That's one of the reasons WVU is successful against them.
  16. Even though I'm rooting for the Big 12, I can't stand Frank Mason. Guy stiff arms more than Marshawn Lynch and rarely gets called.
  17. No particular order: The Office Game of Thrones Breaking Bad Always Sunny Parks and Rec 30 Rock is also up there
  18. Not having a good day today. Florida State down 22 with seven minutes left to Xavier.
  19. I love Bielien as a coach but at the same time I'm happy Michigan hired him because it allowed WVU to get Huggy Bear! Haha.
  20. Gotta root for the Big 12 (though I picked Michigan in the majority of my brackets). Go Pokes!
  21. Yeah Murray certainly hasn't done enough and he's admitted as much, which makes me think Bylsma will be back next season no matter what happens with the final dozen games. Last offseason Murray just signed Okposo, flipped Pysyk for Kulikov and then called it a summer. Edit: and trading for Vesey's rights but we know what happened there. I'll concede that Bylsma hasn't had the best to work with but watching how this team plays with a lead and player usage has gotten me questioning whether he's the right coach for this team.
  22. So glad I tuned this team out weeks ago. This team is a deadly combination of bad and boring. If Bylsma is still the coach next year, I'm gonna have very little hope or excitement for next season too, no matter how many moves Murray makes.
  23. Seriously. Get them to play a half court game and you got them beat.
  24. Jamal Adams. Even though I've been slightly frustrated by Whaley's love of drafting ACC and SEC players, who have no idea how to play in the cold, the Bills need another safety and he's slightly better than Hooker IMO. Even before Hooker's injury. In any event he probably won't last until 10.
  25. I have more faith in them than my Mountaineers. I think they beat Bucknell but I'm not so confident they make it out of Buffalo vs Notre Dame/Princeton. SMU, on the other hand, I have in the Sweet Sixteen in a few of my brackets and the Elite 8 in at least one (I've done 3-4 so far). Technically LaMelo is gonna have to wait for that money to play college basketball for at least one year. And isn't LaMelo only a high school sophomore?
