  1. Chicago Bears, the 49ers play like 40 miles away from San Fran and the Pats don't play close to Boston although their NE. Heck the Bills don't play downtown. It's pretty common nowadays that teams use the city name for the region even if they are not in that city.
  2. No it is true. The NFL is about maximizing opportunities its product is out there in visible, its why the combine is even a thing now. Shutting down your biggest piece of your product in the height of it's apex is borderline insanity. The NFL does not care about the players otherwise there would be more rest, no TNF or at minimum a more spaced out schedule for it, and 100 other things they do not do.
  3. With how much money and attention the NFL gets this would be the worst decision possible. Thursday Night Football is not liked at all by players because of lack of rest and injuries', NFL does it because it makes gobs of money.
  4. Flip side passing yards wise not every game is going to be perfect so I think the 4500 yds territory is pretty on.
  5. It is always tough comparing because we do not know who is a HOF and star plus the teams sucess etc.. But Allen talent wise is above Kelly, but I think Kelly had better play makers. On defense the 90 Bills had Bruce, but the depth and talent of the secondary and Milano/Edmunds pushes the defense now better then the 90s crew.
  6. Realistically predicting game by game outcomes are so tough outside of like the Jets who are just so bad and devoid of talent I think anyone would say its easy two score win.
  7. Get back to me in 2 years. Way to early to tell with any of them although Tua they may ruin at the rate its going. In general to QB's succeed ie: division titles, SB appearance, etc.. 40% ish of the time drafted 1st round. I don't think any college is really a true QB U as much as its the luck of the draw.
  8. Not really. Growing up Sportscenter was a must for me, but the show itself has fallen from what it was and so much of ESPN is just talking heads. Truthfully I look at my twitter for sports updates more now and just espn for scores.
  9. The player most are today will be far different 5 years from now and 10 years from now. Truthfully age may help Allen pass better because half of his issue is too much zip, but the bigger thing is many QB's as they get older get smarter and more relaxed as they play the position. I honestly think Allen 5 years from now probably will be a better true QB because he won't press as much as he does now.
  10. The Bills have one of the easiest schedules right now opponent wise and before the season I think it was rated as 5th easiest. If you have an issue with Houston then they are not SB caliber
  11. I personally think the moment they lost to PIT it pissed the entire team off to a point their like dogs on raw meat. That could subside a little if they beat KC, but they do seem to being playing with a ton of purpose that truthfully wasn't there against PIT.
  12. Hang with me.... a wind machine.... to push the wind away!
  13. I am only going to respond to the weather piece and it is proven to not be an advantage. Back in the days when the technology wasn't up to stuff yea it mattered more, but it isn't some massive thing the way people glorify it. The Bills have a high up tempo offense and all weather does to me is potentially slow it down. Additionally for fans who say they are the "best" the Ravens game in 2019 which was the biggest game in 20 years had tickets available for $30. For as many people who like the weather, there are a ton of fans who will not do a December game or later. Your literally eliminating a piece of your fanbase with being outdoors. Now whatever happens with a new stadium is what it is and I will go regardless. But this whole crap about the weather is the biggest lie out there and truthfully if it did matter Buffalo's playoff drought should've been much shorter.
  14. Anyone who says next week will be a blowout needs to watch the Texans against the Panthers and there other two games. They are vet heavy lineup that may not have talent but Culley has them playing hard. Teams like that are always tough because they have wayyy too much pride to rollover and Cooks is having a great year at WR. I don't think the Bills cover the game and I could see a 24-14 type game which is closer then people think but never necessarily in doubt either. Add in the KC game the week after and it feels like a game where fans me get more frustrated with how it plays out to get a win.
  15. Once the game clock hits 0:00 and the Bills lose a black hole appears in the sky and the universe collapses onto itself
  16. I have always wondered if you are buying single game tickets how does PSL impact that? Like is there any impact? I have always found it strange that basically you could buy secondary market or single game tickets and make a season out of it and not have PSL issue.
  17. I grew up hating the Dolphins, but the Patriots have taken their place. Yea Miami beat us in the 70s but the Bills during the rivalry had points of being better then Miami. With NE the level of success the Pats had for two, even three decades as Bledsoe and Parcells knocked the 90s Bills off their perch, that arrogance with it, the Bills lack of success during that period, takes this to a far greater place of dislike. The Bills and Miami both being down for so long also really impacts this as it was hard for either fanbase to really talk smack to each other. Maybe with the Bills recent manhandling and success with Miami and the league in general it could restart things, but Buffalo Miami was a cultural war too of warm vs cold, blue collar vs beach collar etc.. Nowadays not sure it can get back that same feel. I went to SUNY Oswego from 06-10 and they get alottt of NYC students. Jets fans were unsufferable as there isn't a fanbase besides DET that has done less but front runs more. So I still love seeing the Jets lose and their fans flip out.
  18. Bills 28 WFT 17 The Bills start quick as Allen moves right down the field and Beasley gets his first TD of the year. Early 2nd quarter the Bills pick off Heincke and Allen connects with Sanders on a 30 yard TD to put Buffalo up 14-0. WFT is able to get a FG before half to make it 14-3. Out of the half the Bills receive the ball and again drive down the field with Allen running in a TD to put Buffalo up 21-3. A McLaurin TD at the end of the 3rd allows WFT to get it to 21-10, but the Bills again march down the field as Allen hits Singletary for a 15 yard screen TD. WFT gets a garbage TD late and the Bills move to 3-1. This is Allen's get right game as the accuracy issues are corrected and he finally relaxes. Allen 24-32 302 yds 3 TDs 75 yds 1 TD Singletary 43 yds 9 rushes Diggs 115 yds 7 rec Hughes 2 sacks White INT

  20. It is why for the entire AFC in general anyone not named KC getting the #1 seed is huge to everyone's chances
  21. I am all for tearing down goal posts
  22. The AFC is pretty wild this year as all of the division winners from last year are 1-1, the Broncos and Raiders are 2-0 (wtf), and the only 0-2 teams are the Jags, Jets (no surprise), and Colts (partial surprise). Given the power the #1 seed has now in the playoff picture and the ability to get especially KC on the road and not home for any contender, this year is shaping up to be a dog fight for whoever does get the #1 seed. So with that said if you look across the board at Bills opponents schedules, the Bills schedule itself, and just some basic guessing a few thinks shake out: The Ravens win opened the AFC big time to the #1 seed. KC's division is improved and even if they win it they are going to lose a game if not two. With a AFC conference loss already in the books a Bills or Titans win could really hurt KC further in the battle for 1 The Ravens themselves are a threat for the top seed, but their division is a buzz saw and attrition will play a factor. 12-5 will probably take the division, but they need to hope KC can get there too This is without a doubt KC's toughest schedule since Mahomes started and isn't super hard to get them to 12-5 as they have BUF, TEN, GB, DAL, PIT and their full gambit of division games. Going 7-4 in those games is nothing to slouch at and those are all quality opponents. If KC does go 12-5 the whole tie breaking procedure will probably be wild The Bills do not need to necessarily win both KC/TEN, but they have to beat one if they want to be in the dance for the #1 seed. Win both and your in the front seat. The Bills schedule is heavy early on, but after the bye the only tough games are NOLA, TB, & NE. They really need to clean up wins quick against their lesser opponents and if they do they will have a good look. The loss to PIT hurts more in the sense that 13-4 which probably takes the cake only allows 3 more losses. They have KC/TEN/NOLA/TB all on the road and somehow have to go 2-2 minimum so they can afford one loss somewhere else. The Titans may be the biggest threat to the Bills as they have BUF, KC, SF, & LAR but otherwise a probably soft schedule especially considering the Jags & Texans being weak and the Colts current implosion. Truthfully beating the Titans might be more important then KC just given the fact they have a similar amount of soft opponents as Buffalo Cleveland's schedule is no joke like Baltimore and they also need to hope that 12-5 is the mark to get the top seed. Between the division and the quality of opponents they have its tough sledding I do not think the Raiders are a contender (they are a playoff team though), but they already are 2-0 with two big AFC wins including a tiebreaker with Baltimore. If they can go 4-2 division wise they could be a sneaky contender to get to 13 wins as they play the NFC East which is a dog plus weaker looking teams like IND, CHI, & Cincy. Who knows with Gruden they have started hot before, but Carr does look good and the longer they keep winning the bigger a threat they become. Overall for the AFC I think if someone gets to 13 wins it will take the #1 seed. The level of competition is vastly higher in the AFC already and personally I think it would be really fun if 12 wins took the #1 seed and the chaos of the tiebreakers.
