A few Thoughts about the Chiefs Game, in no particular order
corta765 replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
You knew things with the reffing were bad when even Al Michaels was getting pissed, he once quipped "And what a surprise here comes another flag". I am sure the NFL was thrilled with Al basically burning the ref crew after a while lol -
Check twitter, people were there

After last nights win in the words of Judge Mills Lane my thoughts on going to the airport were this " I'll Allow it"
-
I would say the Giants teams that beat NE kinda were the trend setters with this and a four man front that eats the offensive line which allows heavier coverage. Prior to that in 2007 offenses were not as dynamic to that extent, Peyton and Brady change that over the last 15 years and other teams picked up on it.

Hold on this one has been a fun trip down the past, in the words of judge mills lane "I'll allow it"

I was considering a whose uniform is better by quarter and the effects of look by dirt and grime as the game progresses with a special feature on how rain plays a role in making the uniforms more slippery
-
The extra point gets blocked but they manage to realign for the kick and make it which is worth 1.5 pts lol

This is why I predicted 9-6 OT win Buffalo, the weather duh haha

My top 5 keys to winning on SNF

6. Carrie Underwood singing lol -
9-6 OT Bills Both teams forget how to play offense, there is lots of yelling in living rooms across KC/BUF as the game sucks to watch, and Buffalo wins on a FG in OT leaving you feeling weirdly unsatisfied and the Bills drop in the power rankings by 7.

Since 2017 they've had big road wins every year (17 Atlanta, 18 Min, 19 DAL, 20 NE/SF/LV). If at this point you are still looking for proof of them being legit idk what to tell you

A Few Thoughts about the Texans game, in no particular order

Thank you for the stadium response. I had the same feelings with Allen and the offense in regards to the weather. We have a high octane group... and we play in elements not conducive for best performance. The concourse issues I have been use to for a while and I actually appreciated in the 300 the whole beer and drink fridge thing where you grab and then just check out. That said new stadium would allow for much better concession lines, walk way space, and overall experience. I have been to Miami twice and its wild how much better then stadium is in that regard to us. Also more space that covers people in the weather is a must if we have to be outdoors. -
Assuming his medicals are ok and he would buy into the culture, sign him ASAP I could care less what he said on the way out, frankly it matched what most of us thought. If he can get us closer to the Super Bowl then do it.

Don't kill the messenger Bill Barnwell had it this morning that he was a -4.6 epa. Saying his play is the best of any in this class isn't much considering how bad they all have bad in various ways. The last few years you've had guys like Herbet or Burrow etc.. torching for 300 yds etc.. Mac has managed to be the best by simply not being a tirefire which is a respectable thing. And I get your a Pats fan but the hype is there from outlets, heck Collinsworth last night was praising him last night as if he went off for 400 yds 4 TDs. He looked fine last night which is a pretty solid compliment considering who they played, the situation, etc...
-
This morning the advanced stats said that Jones COST the Pats 4 pts with his play last night. I think he hasn't looked bad and could even be decent for sometime, but the hype attached has been stupid and inflated because of where he went not his actual play.

Bills 27 Texans 13 I have said this feels like a closer game then people will give credit for and reminds me a lot of last years Chargers game where Bills control but the other team won't go away. With it suppose to rain a bit I see the Bills running a little more and using more screens. Anyhoo 1st quarter both teams trade possessions until Mills gets Cooks for a 30 yard pass to get in the Bills redzone. Buffalo holds though so its a FG and 3-0 HOU. That awakens the offense who goes 65 yards and score on a Singletary TD run to go up 7-3. Mills gets INT on the next series mid 2nd quarter and Buffalo scores another TD with Beasley scoring on a slant. The Texans manage a drive before half to get a FG and the game is 14-6 at half. The Bills get the ball out of half but the drive stalls and its a FG thanks to a holding penalty negating a TD. Late 3rd quarter the Bills get the ball again and drive for another TD to go up 24-6 thanks to a Davis TD pass from 10 yds out. The Texans respond though as Mills connects with Danny Amendola on a 25 yard gain to get to the Bills 5 yd line and Ingram pounds it in to close it to 24-13 at the start of the 4th. The Bills though take 6 mins off the clock to open the fourth and ice the game with Bass 2nd FG of the game. Allen 20-30 289 yds 2 TD's 35 yds rush Singletary 90 yds 1 TD 14 atts Diggs 4 rec 102 yds Tre White 1 INT 4 PD

That's fair. 2013 is still the standard bearer for yikes this ain't good and this draft is starting to feel really familiar to that.
-
14 wasn't much better and Bridgewater and Carr were 32 and 2nd round. But agreed 13' wasn't good, although both Geno and EJ had at least some hype due to college performance.

There are a few games in Bills fandom that approximately ALL of WNY was at: 80 Dolphins 88 Jets Comeback Game 2011 Slaying of Pats 2017 Snowbowl I was at the snowbowl and have pictures being front row. There was not more then 56-57k there that day, yet it has 100% morphed into a game where at my last count 80k were in a stadium that maxes at 70k haha

This draft is probably the weakest QB wise since 2014. Talent like always is there but their is no definitive player and many question marks. I am sure by the draft a few will emerge but take a look since 2014 and I can’t remember a year where the crop felt so iffy since then.
-
And technically neither team needs a QB as they each drafted them so I guess your drafted for that DE from Oregon

So here is the wild thing with the Jags and how bad the Lions have been by comparison and why no team even nears how bad the Lions are. Even though the Jaguars have been absolutely awful for the last decade plus, they have the same number of conference title game appearances and one more playoff win then Lions in the last decade then the Lions since the SB 1. The Jags are bad but odds are at some point they will put it together in some capacity. What truly is wild with Detroit is just how abysmal and awful they have been where they literally have expansion teams that have sucked with success winning and doing more.

The NFL really would need to add more like four more teams to balance it better so the schedule doesn't implode. I have thought for a while the NFL would move back to two divisions a conference and that way they could add two teams per conference. My guess: Austin (Growing insanely fast and could def support it just a matter if owners in HOU/DAL would let it happen) NFC East London (NFL really wants a team there) AFC East St Louis (if you haven't been paying attention to the lawsuit it actually may be cheaper for St Louis to get a new team that the NFL payout, it is wild) AFC West Mexico City (NFL would gain a second international team that fits time zone better) NFC West
