Hey everyone just looking for some ideas. I am going to the Colts game Sunday and I am not tailgating like we normally do and was curious about parties or events around the stadium before. Has anyone went to Dannys or O'Neils prior to the game? Is there other things people recommend

Agreed, quick passes and screens. Keep Breida in for those. -

This is pretty bad, but I guess if they are gonna prove their worth as an offense you gotta overcome injuries. Daboll knows he can't allow a Jags game again so pressure is on the him and the offense to find a way. -
Colts @ Bills — Uniform reveal
corta765 replied to SlimShady'sSpaceForce's topic in The Stadium Wall
They are wearing the white throwbacks against NE and typically the all red's are used for a day that might have some snow or at least they like to try and theme it that way. -
Garth Brooks in I believe 1998 at Marine Midland Arena We were on national TV as it was the CMA award night and Trisha Yearwood did a duet with Garth on TV. He was also announced as entertainer of the year. It was biblically loud and in terms of pure energy and deafing noise I have only been to two other concerts that matched it.

Respectfully I kind of hate these threads. The Bills have a Super Bowl caliber team with a QB who is an MVP candidate on a yearly basis. If they fail to have success in the playoffs or falter earlier I am looking far more at my team then the one that beat them because they should be able to beat any team in the AFC. Mac Jones is good, he has done well as a rookie and fits what NE wants to do. If you lose to the Pats where it ends the season my issue is what the heck our guys our doing not how good NE is.

I hate to say it … but the Pats are coming
corta765 replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
I caution any fan with thinking a win is easy especially on Thursday night which has produced some of the most unpredictable results since those games started. Home teams have something close to a .700 win rate on Thursday's. I think NE should be favored, but ATL is 4-5 and their offense at points has done some things. If we have learned anything from this season across the NFL its that nothing is a sure thing and the unexpected has been all over the place. -
I think its not impossible he leaves if they need the cap space and if his play were to tail off. But otherwise I don't see a reason to do so outside of those reasons. His first two seasons he was Josh's best friend on so many plays he needed a guy underneath. This year he has been more up and down but so has the offense in general and I truly think his knee injury from last year has kept him back a step and isn't being talked about. That said he still has led the team in yards in two games this year and he has tendency in closer games to being the guy to make a big catch on a 3rd down. I am just not sure they can get as good of a target for less money who vibes with Josh as well outside of cap/injury.

I try to avoid getting too serious on a single game, but this game realllyyy feels like a massive swing game season wise. There is a lot at stake as this is an AFC conference game which we share with NE also. A win and your a 7-3 going into the toughest stretch with NOLA, NE, TB which buys you some leash if you go 1-2 in those games and gives you the tie breaker vs IND. If you lose IND is 6-5 and one game back, the Pats are potentially tied standings wise with, you have another AFC conference loss which god forbid they don't win division and now its a battle wildcard wise, and the generally energy/mood reallyy will hit a tough point. I personally think IND in a certain way is a paper tiger in terms of their wins masking talent being out or not as high as you think, BUT they are well coach and seem to have found a decent identity at this point with their run game and Wentz not messing up too bad. So I guess what I am saying is I have BUF winning a really tight game vs IND 27-21, but they are a Wentz turnover or two from this being 40-17 also. I do not think IND has much room to mess up without the Bills making the game out of reach quickly.

If we added up all over our other Super Bowls losses with the "actual" Super Bowls losses the Bills are like 0-124 I had a limited time, I would actually love to dive deeper over like 30 years it just takes alottttt of time. I did go season by season and compare losses for all of the teams along with record etc..

What the Ravens loss (and many other bad losses) should teach us

Crap your own to me -
I think for young up and coming teams it is very easy to maintain urgency as you climb each mountain ie playoffs, division crown, title game etc.. Once you hit those marks though and the main goal is SB or bust I can understand having to learn a new type of urgency week in week out. You go from hunting to be hunted in a sense and that is psychologically a whole different mind set. I would expect they become a loaded bear like you said, but my greater hope is they finally have learned the urgency needed weekly.

Young teams with new coaches like the Jags or Jets are especially scary come mid season because their record prior does not usually indicate where they actually are and as you said they start figuring themselves out. While the Jags got blown out by the Seahawks they had been in virtually every other game to some extent. The Jets I am not as worried with because they have not been in most of their games. I think of the 2010 Bills that started 0-8 but finished 4-12 and were in more games then their record indicated as an example of a young team that was far more dangerous then the record showed. Truthfully the Steelers should've had a bad loss on their record that year if Stevie didn't drop the damn ball.

Thanks. No doubt for Bills or Ravens fans the loss was bad, but history shows it isn't something completely unrecoverable for either team and like I said at the end of the year the Jags are 4-13 or 5-12 it probably doesn't look AS bad as 1-7 at the time. The other thing is for some of these teams they were in the midst of a bad stretch and the loss was anywhere from the start of that stretch to the end of a bad stretch of play. In football nothing is linear

As Dunkirk Don would say "follow the money" and you'll find the answer haha -
After the Ravens loss to Miami and the Bills to the Jags I wanted to look at how much a bad loss has meant to prior SB champions. Here is the list: 2010 Packers: Week 14 at Lions 7-3. Rodgers got hurt half way through but they literally lost to a 2-10 Lions team. 2011 Giants: Week 11 Eagles 17-10. The Eagles were 3-6 and despite the hype coming into the year, flamed out really hard 2012 Ravens: Week 2 Eagles 24-23 or Week 7 Texans 43-13. The Eagles went 4-12 whereas the Texans were good and Baltimore got run out of town. 2013 Seahawks: Week 16 Cardinals 17-10. They didn't really have a bad loss as every team they lost to was a playoff team, but they did lose week 16 at home to a spunky Cards team with Carson Palmer throwing 4 INTs. 2014 Patriots: Week 4 at Chiefs 41-14. This was the game which NE looked broken, Brady looked old, and people thought the Pats dynasty was finally on the way down. This was about as bad a loss a team could have in terms of image when you've been successful for a long period of time as it comes. 2015: Broncos: Week 10 Chiefs 29-10. After losing the week prior the Broncos got throttled at home by a division rival and the their offense got exposed as Manning was breaking down due to age by the second. After his fourth interception Brock Osweiler came in which is never a good thing/ 2016 Patriots, No Comment other then Buffalo beat the Pats week 4 2017: Eagles: Week 13 at Seahawks 24-10. At 10-1 the Eagles had a loss on the road that fans would feel showed they were not ready yet to defeat a premier team. 2018: Patriots: Week 3 at Lions 26-10. The Patriots lost to a Lions team on the road that stunk and only scored 10 pts. 2019: Chiefs: Week 5 Colts 19-13. Despite having a record setting offense the Chiefs laid an egg at home vs a Colts team that would finish 7-9. That was the only game that season they were held under scoring at least 23 pts in a game. 2020: Buccaneers: Week 5 at Bears 20-19 or Week 9 Saints 38-3. If you are going to losing to a bad opponent the Bucs lost in Chicago to a Bears team that was not good. If you are talking about margin of victory the Bucs got smoked by division rival the Saints and I do remember after this game people questioning how good the Bucs really were. So looking at the past SB winners can have bad losses in all shapes and forms and it really isn't underheard of for an off performance. How the Jaguars finish the season may also determine in hindsight how bad the loss was or wasn't. Some of these losses above were pretty bad at the time to the team they lost to, but by seasons end not as bad.

I would say at this point were toast. The Dolphins obviously have all the momentum and the Bills have absolutely NO way of preventing them from catching us -
Is the #1 seed that big of a deal anymore?
corta765 replied to streetkings01's topic in The Stadium Wall
So getting the #1 seed is a big deal because the at least 1 of the #1 seeds has made the Super Bowl over the last decade. So statistically you are giving yourself a 50% chance at the big game. Currently the #1 seed is not a big deal for two reasons: 1. The AFC is straight whack right now. Take a look at the standings and your guess at how it ends up is as good as anyones as many of the teams have to play each other so attrition is coming to teams like Baltimore and the Chargers. The Titans have the easiest path but at some point they will struggle a bit and lose 2 maybe 3 (Or they are your 1 seed). 2. The Bills loss against the Jags and Titans especially has taken them from the driver seat to being just one of many. Outside of the Bills winning out and being 14-3, if they are 13-4 or my guess 12-5 at seasons end they will have manyyyyy teams with the same record and it will come down to tiebreakers which I do not want to even have to think about as it hurts my head haha. -
What prompted the change to our offense, and other questions?
corta765 replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
Good read and I agree with what has been said. I do believe the offense will get it together to some capacity, I am not sure if it 100% back to last year but it will improve. Josh I am not worried about he had a bad day compounded by zero help. Yards Per Pass made this point on twitter and I think there is more to this then what has been remotely said. Beasley this year looks a step behind compared to the prior two years where he literally never dropped a ball and was uncoverable. He looks just a bit slower/hasn't been able to break free like before and he has had quite a few drops in big situations that I just don't remember happening the last two years. The prior two years I really believe Josh's true help was always having Beasley around to catch literally anything at any time and being open. Whether scheme or gameplan it has not felt nearly the same this year. I have wondered if his injury is still lingering from last year beside his current rib issue. Either way YPP I think made a great point on this and it has not been brought up nearly enough. -
