From what I have read and seen there are three options: 1. pay full up front 2. spread payment in 3 payments up to opening 3. 10 year payment plan. Obviously this can change it is just what I have seen
-
I get it but it isn't destroying my world if it isn't Buffalo lol
-
lol jesus no one knows a thing this year. I got Bills at Washington Sentinals week 1 against Shane Falco
-
lol why Bills fans so intense about an opening thursday night game. Win the SB and its our next year... until they switch the rules hahaha This IS a source I trust Dov is legit
-
I don't trust this account he or she is just putting out the latest nothing official. I just saw a twitter feed from a decent dolphins source saying the Phins are going north in december to Buffalo and NE.
-
Don’t disagree it’s why I’m wait and see until the full numbers hit
-
The prices I were told were literally this week so I would work with that as a range to start with. Buffalo is super cheap for everything league wide, many fans really do not understand that. The fact they even mentioned PSLs at just $500 is rather remarkable as in some cities the starting point was $5000.
-
Yep, he mostly captured my thoughts.

The article will be read by a lot of people and as such it does represent the view of the fanbase. I do not expect consensus that everyone will agree with my perspective but being asked as I was I hope I was able to express the feelings of many Bills fans on something that is an extremely sensitive topic. My apology is if what I said went against the grain or didn't capture others view points. If you are that far dense to not understand that and current wait and see period with PSLs that has many many fans on pins and needles on what it means for them then I don't know what to say to you other then too bad and move along.

It is why Id rather just say its a ticket tax to help fund the stadium and walk away. When they try to list the PSL perks it all feels like BS
-
Agreed. The retort is technically the funds will be captured for 850mil given over 20 years and tax income etc... yea its BS. Buffalo for 20 years now has escaped most of the money BS the league does just to attend a game but our day has unfortunately come. I just hope it is rational and fair which is not saying much but also a stretch with billionaires.

Def some good thoughts and merit there. One of the things the NFL maximizes with its schedule is the fact certain matchups are only every few years. The NFL is the only sports league where every game matters week to week, there is a uniqueness to each matchup, and a pageantry that is unmatched. The NFL is getting close if they expand too far to ruining that and killing the golden goose in a sense. The 17th game should make so two great QBs like Rodgers and Brady don't have to wait 4 years to faceoff as often, but I think the balance is pretty solid right now. I will say I would be curious with what they would do if for one year they paused the 17th game rotation for something like you proposed and what would come of it.
-
I remember he mentioned something like this. The problem becomes that eventually not everyone has a good rivalry and when Seattle is playing Las Vegas due to "proximity" it doesn't have the same ring to it. Truthfully the way they handled the 17th game made the most sense and teams want the most equitable schedule possible not the most entertaining.
-
I kind of agree. I love the build and analyzing the schedule and trying to piece it together. Then it happens and by like Sunday I just start looking for what thursday night games I am going out to bar for lol

I hate to say this but I think the Bills realistically have no issue with trimming the season ticket list down to around 52k and the remaining 10-11k (the new stadium will probably be 62-63k plus a few thousand standing room) for individual tickets which are higher priced then now. The fans get screwed, but they get more money and revenue streams. It 100% sucks that someone who has had tickets for 15-20 years same section will either have to move or just not buy at all and I communicated that is the nervousness fans have is what the actual price point is and if I lose my seat ive had for x number of years.

I have thought for a bit now the days of going to a game super cheap are toast especially with everything online like you said. I would agree the Bills do not want fans who get $10 tickets, park at an off campus lot for $10, and don't spend any money at the stadium being the focus or goal in anyway. I think Bills games will be affordable for most, but that comes with the expectation you still are paying more then the past. The flip side as a parent with two kids now is we need four tickets and I actually am excited if they can provide some options pregame at the new stadium they may be a bit more family focused as kids and tailgating don't mix for 3 hours lol I would add that with games being a bit more the last few years I have seen far less stupidity in terms of fighting in the stands and bad behavior then in many years prior. I have thought somewhere around 2014 a shift happened and truthfully I am all for limiting that crap.

I honestly wish instead of PSL they just said for the next 10 years every ticket has a $25 ticket tax per ticket. Figure 105 games in that time (10 5 years 11 other 5 with extra home game) in a 63k stadium it works out to 165 million. Obviously there is a reason for PSL and how they do them, but to me that is more equitable across the board.

I am very curious once GB loses Rodgers and has some lean years where they are viewed status wise by networks. Sure they have tradition and history, but realistically their biggest draw has been have MVP caliber QB play for basically 30 years (Farve & Rodgers) so they always are there. They still are a super small market and without that draw I do think they fall a bit.

Based off leaks so far the Bills are playing at BAL week 4 on SNF AND on Thanksgiving at 8:30. Guess its a doubleheader year lol

I was literally contacted by a reporter for the Buffalo News and asked if I was willing to speak for five minutes which I said ok to. This is a pretty big deal for many fans with PSLs that I took as seriously as I could and hoped I represented their thoughts in that light. I could give two craps about any 15 mins, I do care that Bills fans thoughts come through and I represented them in a decent level.

So I was interviewed by the Buffalo News for a piece they are doing on PSLs for the Bills new stadium. They contacted me about my opinion due to a twitter post they had and a response I made. I know many of you are season ticket holders and I hope I represented your thoughts with what I said: -I said for PSLs I think everyone understands they are coming and while no one wants to pay more people are in a wait in see approach to what it actually looks like. -Fans understand the business and the direction things are heading, the greatest fear would be getting priced out or losing seats that you may have had for 10-20 years and having to move just because of cost -I said the team has said that everyone will have a spot and they know they can't go overboard in cost for PSLs, but I said fans will want to see what those numbers look like I hope that was a decent representation of where most peoples thoughts are. Like I said I understand that no one wants to pay more and it does suck with PSLs, but it is the cost of keeping the team in the 21st century NFL. FYI these numbers were thrown to me for PSL range per seat: Reserved seats (non club type 100, 200, 300): $500 up to $7000 Club seats: $6000 to $15,000 For the reserved or normal seats I actually do not think they are too far out of what would be considered within range cost wise especially as you can finance over 10 years so even for $7,000 per seat if you have two seats its about $116 per month. Again if I spoke out of turn I apologize to you as I am not for PSLs but understand it is part of keeping the team here and as a former season ticket holder (section 143 row 30 had two seats) if they said I had a PSL of $1000 per seat I would've paid it without thought.

2019 Cincy week 3 and your right 2006 at NE week 1 at Miami week 2 home NYJ week 3. Going back to 2003 those are the only two years, its rare but it happens. 2019 I will say opening two weeks in NYC wasn't that bad.
-
That is not true. The only year the NFL intentionally alternated week 1/2 home away was 2020 because of COVID so if they had to cancel games it would balance. Bills opened at home two straight in 2015 IND/NE and were on the road two straight in 2019 NYJ/NYG. Yes the NFL does try to be fair so teams dont open every year on the road, but some teams have opened on the road a bunch and others home. Remember some stadiums have concerts and other events that automatically bump week 1 out and sometimes teams will ask to open on the road for something else later in the season.

Lol their fans have taken over stadiums check this years Dallas playoff game. It’s the 13th largest US market. Yea they got brand and size

I get you have Bills blinders on but San Fran is a huge TV market with a huge national following. They 100% would drive ratings if put in regardless of QB
