Prisco: Bills to go 3-13 (start 0-8)
corta765 replied to HansLanda's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It's funny how people can't take criticism and respond without picking facts or throwing out absolute arguments without giving any reason to the other side. If you want a powder puff commentary on the Bills then you might as well leave the internet period. -
Why we will beat Baltimore on opening Day
corta765 replied to Da webster guy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
First two weeks especially are incredibly difficult to read where a team is. As long as you are 1-1 everyone generally feels OK 0-2 is the death sign though. -
Here are the things I am looking forward to with pre season games how about you: QB: I am very excited to see Allen against some real NFL talent and see how he is going. While I won't say its a good thing, uncertainty at QB always makes pre-season games far more interesting to watch. I am hoping to see better mechanics foot wise and of course how strong his arm is. I am also curious to see if Peterman has progressed and what McCarron can do. Offense in general: Yes O coordinators never show their full hand, but you can still get an idea of some of the concepts and things they are focusing on. I would love to see the Bills attack deep a bit more. I felt like we have drifted away from that the last two seasons. Defensive Chemistry: The defense has talent in a lot of spots how will they work together? Will this thing gel quick or will it take time? Can Edmunds show some of the potential he has when he runs 1st team and make some plays? Jeremy Kerley: I always liked him as a WR and he has went quiet throughout the off season IMO despite being a decent sized piece to this offense. I want to see what his athleticness does or doesn't look like and in general see how much tread he has on his tires. Football Itself: To me there are two seasons, football season and no football season. I am excited to finally have some games played again and to get my hopes up for better or worse. If Allen shows the potential we want, the defense shows some nice ability to be difficult, and the team in general looks as competent as it did at points last year it will feel good heading into September.

Haha I wish
-
-Seahawks finish with 5 wins shocking many who can't see how talentless the team is after Wilson and a few others prompting Carrol to leave and retire -Patriots win the division at a shaky 10-6 record and finally seem to start slipping after losing at home in the wildcard round -Andrew Luck returns healthy and leads the Colts to a 9-7 record and wildcard birth -But its the AFC South Texans at 12-4 who are the class of the AFC and go to their first Super Bowl -San Francisco goes 7-9 putting the hype train back a bit on Jimmy G -Pat Mahomes is the real deal but Mitch T is not as he throws more INTs then TDs showing his issues from last year are real issues now -DROY goes to... Dallas Leighton Vander Esch who becomes the lynch pin on an improved Dallas defense that helps them make the playoffs. Edmunds does just as well but Dallas playoff birth and attention overshadows Edmunds. -OROY goes to Calvin Ridley who in the Falcons offense explodes for a big season helping ATL to the best record in the NFC. -Dallas beats Houston in a battle of Texas in the Super Bowl. Tony Romo cries seeing his replacement do what he couldn't as he broadcasts..America wants to vomit

Top 10 biggest traitors in Buffalo Bills history
corta765 replied to greenyellowred's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Disagree with 2-3 because that was near peak drought bad Bills moves. Peters wanted a contract to reflect his play and back then Buffalo was not paying like that. Lynch was universally at the time regarded as talented but needed a change of scenery potentially and you can blame the Bills for mismanaging that when they had Lynch and Freddie and decided they needed to draft CJ for some awful reason. 4-9-10 were a reflection of a Bills team universally cheap and mismanaged beyond bad. Knox had his team and Ralph wouldn't pay him as he should have. I don't blame McKenzie for leaving because of that either because you lost a great coach because your owner was too poor. Kelly its the same thing joke of a team and franchise I don't blame players from avoiding places that could destroy their career. If you want players to play for you run a strong respected organization and these issues are not a problem. -
I wish it was that easy but patriotism is bedrock foundation to this country both good and at times bad which has gotten us into trouble i.e Vietnam to stop communism. There is vast amount of Americans who not only see the anthem at games as tradition, but a civic honor to those who fight and serve the country. This type of nationalism is put in those people from birth and regardless of any argument explaining the kneeling they see it as an offense to those people. In other countries it is not common for anthems like this, but remember the US was founded on this nationalist type of ideal. I went to school for Poli Sci so I have looked at this pretty heavily from an analysis standpoint. You effectively have one side pro flag standing defending the nationalist element and the other saying that protesting is apart of the fabric of the US and the cause they are for is just. I don't believe either side is necessarily wrong, but the division is so great there is massive fighting by both and reason won't be heard. In general we are also replicating the social civil war we saw in the 1960s all over again. History does repeat regularly this seems to be the next step. Stopping the anthem would eliminate both sides argument both ways with probably more outrage from the pro flag/anthem people. It would also probably be a hornets nests worse then last year which is why the NFL won't do it.

Nate Davis: USA Today 2018 Season Projections
corta765 replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They literally have no offense is Shady is gone and even with him they are going to be low scoring. The team benefited from turnovers last year and fumble luck which is going to swing against them. A 5-11 building season still can be good if Allen and other youngsters show promise and learn their chops. -

Seems fair I don't have them past 5-11 so works for me. The rest seem solid happy someone else believes Bears are a bit over hyped same with San Fran and that Seattle is gonna crater. Jags seem more like a 9-7 maybe 10-6 team only thing I'd change. -
Bills Moments That Have Made you Worry About Your Health
corta765 replied to JP's Voice's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I have a few: 2009-McKevlin Fumble NE game. Only time I have seriously contemplated throwing a TV and I was only really stopped by my housemates and GF (now wife) saying it wasn't worth wrecking. 2010-Stevie Drop vs PIT. I actually never saw the drop because the moment it hit his hands I jumped in excitement thinking we scored. We did not score and I was depressed about a week long. 2013-CLE TNF game. I was on the EJ bandwagon hard and that game he was playing pretty well and looked like the Bills were on their way to starting 3-2. He then proceeds to get his knee wrecked and I proceed to kill my entire growler of a Double IPA around 7.8%. Yea I got sick haha. 2014- McKelvin Fumble Chiefs game. In retrospect if they won this they made the playoffs. They still had the lead I literally got back to my house as he fumbled after watching the 1st half in Buffalo. I was so upset when they lost this I had to go in the basement and work on my train layout for 3 hours to calm down. I thought I was gonna have a heart attack I was so freakin mad he fumbled again when he didn't need to do anything. 2015- Jags London. It wasn't just that call, they lost to Blake freakin Bortles in a game they had no business losing. That game basically sealed my thoughts on their chances for the season and coming had with the entire day to sit and be angry was not a good thing. I took down all of my Bills decorations that I put out doors for the season. Since 2015 I have managed to keep things more chilled but also have lower expectations I guess. On a funnier note we have a massive Bills party at our house for the first game of the year or first after home opener. 2013 we had our first party which was the Pats last second heartbreaker. I was fine despite the result but I had a ton of family I was concerned about their health including my brother in law who was so hammered that anyone ripping the Bills on facebook was immediately de-friended. He went years not knowing he defriended both family and close friends lol. -

Drought Wall of Famers

Thanks truthfully you are looking at 4 players in a nearly 20 year period that are WOF worthy. That isn't much especially compared to other teams who were remotely more relevant. -
Drought Wall of Famers
corta765 replied to The Real Buffalo Joe's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Pretty simple: R Brown- 9x Pro Bowler dude deserves to be in HOF not just Bills E Moulds- Stats are superb and on a team with more name power he would be viewed even better E Wood- ^ditto especially for lineman and being on a Bills team that was consistency bad and irrelevant. Also 2nd best center in team history K Williams- Respected league wide for his play and garner appropriate pro bowls for it. Killing of drought is also on resume After that the rest were good to at points great but in my mind never had the consistency or in the case of Schobel noticeable difference making where it makes sense to add him. Freddie is an easy no, had maybe four truly good-great years at best and you could argue he is behind Travis Henry, Lynch, & even McGhee in terms of production and skill ranking wise. Cracking into the OJ, Thurman, Shady group is tough sledding. -
Five reasons why the Bills will make the 2018 NFL playoffs
corta765 replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I just see this season at the 2013 year all over. Talent isn't there on offense at this point, but the defense is piecing to be a really strong unit. I see alot of close games where afterwards fans are frustrated because they couldn't score enough and take advantage. -

Who is Brad Riter and Why Did He Leave WGR?
corta765 replied to BuffaloRush's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
WGR's issue is their best people IMO have left or are marginalized in their roles. Sal should have his show and replace Schoop/Bulldog. He is really insightful and does a good job balancing his role with a fans perspective whereas Mike seems threatened by any fan who god forbid wants to be a fan for a moment. Joe B was superb and the TV stations got him. A lot of their producers have been better then their hosts like Simon or Schoop. They just seem to settle with what they have far too much. -

You don't have to be set for life, but if he is bringing in even 25-30k a year it gives him the ability to pick part time work he wants to bring in another 10-20k. For most people they can do well off that assuming they don't have a tremendous amount of debt. -
If he told his buddies to go over and grab his stuff and they proceeded to beat her up then that is on them. If he told them to go there and hurt her then he is 100% at fault. 1st scenario would clear McCoy to the extent he didn't order a hit or anything and things got out of hand. NFL will suspend and its up to Bills if they keep him. The second he goes to prison. That's all I was saying and I agree any connection in anyway he is toast both NFL and potentially life wise.
-
Agreed. I could absolutely see he "sent friends over" to remove stuff from the house and then things got rough. One of those I didn't "authorize it" in anyway they just lost their control. Would be very hard to prove guilt and he probably would be suspended. But gotta see the facts.
-
Remember at this point the friend is the accuser not the GF. When people split one person also can go nuts and will find any reason to go after the other. The whole thing is just going to need time to sort out involvement etc..
-
I never doubted something happen I won't with DV until its absolutely proven false. Your right the big question is Shady's involvement. As shown with the Janoris Jakins thing it just takes a dumb*ss family member to create a stupid situation the player has no involvement with. It's not far to see Shady asked a buddy to take some of her stuff out of his house and instead the dude went ape. Also has to be questioned if Shady told the guy to?
-
Oh I am in no way trying to discredit this is incredibly serious. Just saying that usually there are other leaks etc.. with it that is all and if he knew you'd think his behavior would be different.
