  1. A tiny little thimble of Kool Aid tastes good but it leaves you loopy. Plenty of capable sailors were on the Titanic. I just wish we would hit on some of these FA signings, maybe Cadet might be the start of something.
  2. There will be a blue Chip player or two that will fall and I'm confident Beane will get him/them. No more Maybins.
  3. Are we just removing the suck from the Whaley years or something? This does not sound easy or simple as that. BUT what we HAVE done is draft well. Tre White is a special talent when our front 7 are performing. Zay is coming along fine, just think of what he would be capable of if someone could throw to him in stride. Dawkins could be good if he finds his place and Milano is a special LB. Our FA moves have been pretty awful, hopefully that can come with time.
  4. Or he will announce his retirement soon and join Boldin as a justice advocate.
  5. True. This draft is pretty thin at OT. Guard's OK but it's REALLY hit and miss with OT.
  6. Yes, this would be great if it worked out.
  7. A Sam Adams, Pat Williams duo?
  8. I like his quick decisions and sense of urgency.
  9. Peterman better be ready to run or to throw it away, because they will be in his face all day in Inglewood.
  10. The president is a WNYer. Went to Brighton HS, he was in my graduating class. Great great guy. http://www.raiders.com/media-vault/videos/Raiders-President-Marc-Badain-At-Groundbreaking-Ceremony/2865a472-1a7a-4ff7-9c90-7cdcd323a4e4

  12. Thank you, McD. Hot Peterman talk is just what I needed to get through an otherwise rough day.
  13. It's as good a time as any to do it vs a suspect LAC team who's QB is in concussion protocol. Trying to jam a read option QB into a Wcoast offense is silly when you have a (granted unproven rookie) Wcoast style QB on your bench. And you're struggling. Really struggling.
  14. 5 and 11 can happen. All of our opponents have sufficient tape on us to know that you can run on us and stack the box. Very simple.
  15. So why not get Chief-level creative and line him up in better situations, matchups? It seems like half of us on this thread are in a talent camp and the other half are in a coaching matters camp.
  16. I like Nate Geary a lot, very focused on what is going wrong and how to fix it. He gets it. Not like other WGR "personalities".
  17. Epic post, CBF! Now we just have to put Tyrod on the Nintendo all week up to Sunday. Do they have NES in the LA hotels?
  18. Good Lord this discussion is ridiculous and something I thought I had left on the BBMBs. You all are so much better than this. I'm with JM57 and the rest on this one because logic. Coaching is everything. How would you explain Goff and Keenum's successes this year? You adapt to what you have and we have plenty of talent on this roster. If you try and squeeze a sqare peg in a round hole you get opposing defenses that do what we saw this past Sunday. "We tried to turn Tyrod into a pocket QB" said the D. And if you fail to adjust your plan to what you have and fail to practice and make adjustments you are left hoping for the draft to save you. ALWAYS BE ADJUSTING, ALWAYS BE ADAPTING.
  19. If we control drives on O and take care of business on D then he does not make it into our stands. We have bigger problems than Lackawanna Leaps.
  20. McD is fine with you but what about Dennison or Frasier? I think Dennison's head is on the block. 8 attempts for Shady? WTF?
  21. He's got quicks but can he play on the OL or DL?
