Pats looked mediocre yesterday. I think you’re kidding yourself if you think this team can dominate like previous years. They benefit from a weak AFC this year, but we’re getting close now.

It’s more of a thick and thin thing. We don’t control the product. Never said I was happy with a bad team - but I don’t cower in shame.

I proudly rock my Bills gear everywhere and anywhere. To each his own, but I find fans who question why - as though people should only support winning teams - pretty pathetic. I’m proud to be a Bills fan. It’s not for the weak-minded.

You either trust the process or don’t. It seems unrealistic to expect coaches and GMs to go beyond normal coach-speak just to reassure us. Most good ones don’t. And I doubt Belichek’s pressers were different in Cleveland. They did break the drought, and they are less than 2 seasons into a full rebuild. Very clearly, a LOT of marbles are reserved for the upcoming offseason. I’m sure Beane hoped we could be more competitive this season, but was probably unwilling to compromise the overall plan just to basically put lipstick on a pig.

That could happen - but they deserve to have their shot. Too many fans judge them by the failures of the past.

No, but I can guess at what they’re doing. It’s a total rebuild - which they will never tell the media. Fans here aren’t used to that kind of rebuild. We’re used to regimes that try to take half measures in the spirit of staying minimally competitive.

I don’t want Beane or anyone talking to the media about strategy like they’re an open book. This is ridiculous.

They don’t owe fans a thing. That’s not their job.

Why do fans make such a big deal out of pressers? Coaches are contractually obligated to do them. Unless you’re Rex Ryan and let everyone know everything in your mind, most coaches just try to do the minimum. They don’t gain anything by being more candid or open.

I am well past the point of judging any fan reaction to our team.

He’s what I thought he would be coming out of college, and is living up to his draft position. It’s a start. So much work left to do to really build an offense - #1 receiver, line, replacing McCoy, eventually tight end, and of course developing a rookie QB.

Rebuilds are painful. We usually avoid full rebuilds, and try to toe the line between trying to but also “remaining competitive.” Let’s see this one through.

It was frustrating to see how completely beatable that team was tonight. Not something I would have said a lot over the years. The Bills would have won with some of the more middlin’ teams we had over the years. The Pats are still well coached, but they’re really not scary anymore. Even Gronk seemed pretty stoppable, and their defense has very little talent.

I love having a good defense. We’d win a lot if we just had a competent offense. If I was a KC fan, the playoffs would scare me.

Pats fans always say that, like he’s going to play forever. I didn’t say that when he was 30 or 35. He’s 41. Can’t wait until reality hits your smarmy, entitled fan base.

I haven’t been impressed with them at all this season, outside of the Miami game. They’re not very good, but they’re in a very weak division and conference. Brady looks old. He is old. Your interminable run is close to a conclusion.

Pats fans always complain about injuries. It’s mid season - everyone is missing players. Your team isn’t that good anymore, and Brady looks old to me.

Only good that can come out if this season is seeing if Allen can make progress.

It will be a little unfair if we don’t see a day where the tables are turned with this obnoxious team. But, life isn’t fair.

We’ll probably be grateful that we’re not getting stupid symbolic wins on draft day. But I don’t really care. It’s more fun to win.

He’s a good player. We need more of ‘em.

Trade McCoy, keep developing Allen. Hate those “over by Halloween” seasons.
