So insecure. Last place you’ll find me when the bills are back on top is on a struggling team’s message board beating my chest.

Week 14: Colts' Game Preparation - Inactives Announced
Success replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Amen. I’d be stoked to see McD finish 9-7 his first year. Might even make the playoffs with that, too. -
That hit changed Gronk’s rep forever. He went from goofy, fun-loving frat boy to roid rage cheap shot artist. His lame defense - which too many pats fans rolled with - was all the more ridiculous given that the game was well in hand. Poor thing had to cope with his jersey getting tugged in a 20 point win. Can’t stand the guy now.

Ridiculous Newsweek Article About the Bills
Success replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You have got to be kidding me. His whole conclusion implies that Toronto fans would get ‘more excited’ about a playoff contender. Not that a move would help get them to the playoffs. And he is completely wrong either way -
The raiders would have been better off bad he not fumbled. They thought it was game over, and Brady thought he lost - tough emotional swing for any team

A lot of bad breaks for the bills. That first INT changed the game. I can’t believe you’re still allowed to post here. With the jg trade, you’ll stop coming here soon enough. Maybe 1-2 more years

LeGarrette Blount Signing with the Eagles
Success replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I guess I'm in a minority but I think he's a really overrated back, especially at his age. Not happy to see the pats get a pick. -
Rex's incompetence has really played a mind game with our perception of the talent on this team. Probably over half of the coaches in the league would have had this team in the playoffs the past 2 years. Great players on both sides. I remember when Moorman was our best player. The Bills are going to surprise a lot of pundits if they can stay relatively healthy.

I like a lot of the discussion here. Keep in mind that it's May. -
Do you FINALLY think there is organization, structure and...
Success replied to njbuff's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah - this feels different. Look - we had years of bargain basement. I give Ralph all of the credit and honor I can for building the only contender we had and keeping the Bills in Buffalo. But he was very frugal. The Pegulas will spend whatever it takes. They got fooled by Rex, but they deserve a mulligan. I think McD and Beane are the real deal. They both live for this game, and they have a track record. This is the turning point. For reals. -
No sure fire Franchise QB's in 18' draft class
Success replied to KellyToughII's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So much truth here. -
I thought these grades were fine. It was good to see someone not hyperventilating about the pats.
-
I never understand why people think intentionally tanking is any kind of answer. For one high draft pick? Not try for an entire season? Insane to me. They're running it perfectly. They're set up well to compete this year, especially if Taylor plays well. If he doesn't and they do go 7-9, they have an extra 1st and can maneuver up into a higher pick if they want to.
-
Definitely optimistic this year. I think McD is exactly what this already talented team needs. Everyone talks about what the Pats have added. The Bills are adding at least 6-7 guys who can be big difference makers. Ragland, Hyde, Lawson finally getting a full season. Watkins back to full health, with Zay being a legit #2 and a guy I see as more versatile and dangerous than Woods. White might be a downgrade talent-wise, but I would bet that he won't have as many lapses as Gilmore. Dawkins will upgrade the line and bring some nasty attitude. And I think that new punter will even work out - Schmidt had some very bad games last year. Field position battles can determine games. I can't wait to see a more disciplined, focused team. I love that we're close to last in some of the power rankings. I think this team is going to surprise a lot of people.
-
I'm the exact same way, year round. Love the Bills.
-
I believe that too. It's been a pretty minor story right now because it's just another change for the bills, but - in terms of nfl history - I think the past few months have been profound.
-
When I think of guys on a national level who have really supported this team, I think of him and Russert. Not that it matters - terrible thing to happen to anyone. But it's like family in a way. Thoughts and prayers to Chris and the rest of their family and friends.

What if Peterman is better than Mahomes??
Success replied to bisonbrigade's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think I read that Peterman was the only guy Belichick looked at this year. I am not some sort of college expert - but it's weird that he dropped to th 5th. He has literally everything you want except for arm strength. And the one thing I do know is that nfl teams overvalue arm strength. So many busts over the years. -
Tom Brady is going to be 40. Calling it now: we win the AFC East in 2017.

Worried About the Scout Vacancies- Big Hole!
Success replied to jethro_tull's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Scouting is something Beane was supposedly exceptional with - I don't have much doubt that he knows who's who, and will fill the positions with people he knows and trusts. -
Pats* issue seldom-used May 9 tender to LeGarrette Blount
Success replied to Saxum's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
BB is great, but he does get too much praise now. Every move isn't gold. They extended their center today - a pretty middlin' udfa, and the worst player on their line. I checked the comments section on one of the boards, and you would have thought he just signed Aaron Rodgers to back up Brady. All of the usual chess/checkers stuff. -
Tom Brady snags cover of 'Madden NFL 18'
Success replied to papazoid's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Man, I have never seen the hype for a team at this level. Not that they haven't earned it, but it's over-saturation. -
So if McDermott can clean up the communication issues...
Success replied to JÂy RÛßeÒ's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This team was right on the cusp when Marrone left. It's hard to overstate how negatively Rex's incompetence affected things. Lack of discipline, late subs, confusion. 10 guys on the field for the most important play last season. Such a mess. I think people are underestimating how good this team can be if McD is as good as we all hope he'll be. In the AFC, I think we have as good a shot at the playoffs as any team not named patriots. -
Predicting every team's starting lineup
Success replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Oh, yeah - you were spot on. You knew right away. I was snowed because he took Sanchez to 2 afccg's, but those look incredibly flukey now. I just remember Darby as a rookie, and I don't think that was flukey. Really consistent, aggressive play. I feel like the whole secondary took a step back last year. That is one area I feel pretty confident McD can get back on track. -
Predicting every team's starting lineup
Success replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I still think Darby is great - Rex made just about everything that was good look bad. The additions of White and Hyde really help. We'll have to see how it goes, but that unit might be better than expected.
