  1. I’ve heard fellow Bills fans speculate that Brady still thinks about that 2003 blowout loss to the Bills when he plays us. Wouldn’t shock me.
  2. They did own the AFC for the better part of a decade. I know they didn’t close the deal, but that kind of run still tops a lot of teams.
  3. Not sure what’s worse. A Pats fan on a Bills board lamely trying to defend a blatantly missed call on a cheap shot by Edelman, or a Bills fan actually defending that lame defense.
  4. It absolutely should have been helmet to helmet. You talk like we’re splitting hairs. It’s a big difference, and it was blatant and looked intentional.
  5. Who knows. Barkley might be able to play himself into the regular backup role for the next few years. It is a position if need once Allen is starter again.
  6. These are long seasons - and I agree with those who identify this one as particularly taxing. It’s over earlier than usual, and beyond that, even previous poor seasons have at least provided a more competitive team, and fewer blowouts. I saw a Pats fan on twitter call their win “annoying.” I presume because it didn’t have the usual style points. What a different world they live in. Allen gives me hope. I feel like we finally ditched the idea of taking half measures to find a QB, and went all in in the NFL’s most important position. I think he has the intangibles to lead us out of this wasteland.
  7. Are we still talking about wanting an NFL coach to speak with more candor and personality at contractually required pressers?
  8. There really is no excuse for the missed call. It’s not like a missed holding call where the ref has a bunch of things to have to monitor. I hope the shoe is on the other foot one of these days. Tough trying to beat a superior team AND the officials, twice a year.
  9. Yeah - Pats fans always say the “haters” are jealous. No way would I want to be them. Everything in that organization - including the cartoonish level of arrogance - is top down and extends to the fan base.
  10. I agree. And he has been such a great Bill - he has never complained about playing here or asked for a trade, and always tries to keep it positive, even though he plays with a different QB every other week.
  11. It’s not really magic for a QB to improve from his rookie year to his 2nd year. It’s a pretty standard NFL expectation that a QB doesn’t peak in the first year.
  12. I like a lot of the young players. The 2 Tre’s, Milano, Shaq is making plays, Dawkins, Zay. It’s really not a bad start. We just need more.
  13. Really consistent play this season - notable considering our passing limitations. And his effort really stands out. Comeback of the year.
  14. Not really facts. Quite a bit of emphasis on the negative. I was listening to a radio program about the Giants today. Fans were lamenting that the Giants kept trying to patch up the team in a futile effort to stay competitive - when they would have benefitted much more from an all-in rebuild. The Bills have tried to do the patch thing. For the first time since the 80s, we seem to finally be committing to a full rebuild. Obviously not an easy thing for fans, but trying to draw conclusions about it right in the thick of it is a meaningless exercise. It’s really just venting.
  15. Here’s hoping the same thing happens with the process and Allen are busts threads.
  16. Oh, please. Such bull. You hated the bills. That’s why you’re here now.
  17. I disagree. I think they have the perfect plan to take over the division once the old man moves on. And hey - I thought you “rooted” for the Bills? Can’t be that you just come here to gloat all the time....could it?
  18. You sound worried. Probably won’t see you as much after the script flips. It’s been fun.
  19. I’ve never been a big prayer guy, but now seems like the time.
  20. Are too. Ton of cap space this offseason and a ton of picks. And your QB is ancient. And he looked it yesterday. And you only have Hoyer behind him. It’s getting close.
  21. Pats looked mediocre yesterday. I think you’re kidding yourself if you think this team can dominate like previous years. They benefit from a weak AFC this year, but we’re getting close now.
  22. It’s more of a thick and thin thing. We don’t control the product. Never said I was happy with a bad team - but I don’t cower in shame.
