  1. Pats look pretty human the last couple of weeks.
  2. That’s how I felt today. He was clearly prepared, focused and actually seemed poised. The first 2 picks should have been completions, and Benji dropped another nice one in the end zone. He wasn’t great, but he deserved better than an entire nation tweeting again about another multi-pick game.
  3. It’s really fun just watching him play.
  4. Sundays will be a lighter, happier experience for me when BB and Brady are retired. Hpoefully that hat coincides with a resurgence for the Bills.
  5. I mean, that describes almost every backup.
  6. Peterman wasn’t bad today. Only 1 INT was on him. He played like a pretty standard backup.
  7. Glad someone noticed that.
  8. I like rooting for Fitz from afar. The inevitable disappointment and heartbreak doesn’t cut as deep.
  9. Brady is still a top QB - but he is no longer a cyborg.
  10. As an old timer, I can offer the benefit of experience in this. We did not have a winning culture in the 80s. It may be hard to believe, but things felt worse than they do now. Then, we went to 4 straight Superbowls. Take from that what you will.
  11. I hate that Viking horn thing. I really hate it.
  12. Just gotta ride this one out and hope they know what they’re doing.
  13. It’s completely sickening watching the Pats. I never signed up for this as a sports fan.
  14. We keep wanting this season to be something it isn’t. We’re rebuilding. Maybe it could have been avoided, but it’s where we’re at and we have to ride it out
  15. Today, sure. I don’t think we can make a definitive call for a few years. Everything they have done hinges significantly in what kind of QB Allen turns out to be.
  16. Not like this. We have always tried to remain competitive while rebuilding. There are different schools of thought on that, but there is something to be said for going all in.
  17. It’s weird. I actually have more faith in Beane at this point. It takes some courage to go all in like this. I think a lot of teams try to do more if a half-measure rebuild. I think Beane has a longer view, and isn’t concerned about pretending that we’re competitive while he makes moves that are necessary but painful. If it works out and we get the pieces we need in the offseason for a lengthy run, he could go down as one of our best GMs.
  18. This is a rebuild. All we’re debating is style points.
  19. Literally the only thing I care about is which one ends up with the most Lombardi’s.
  20. I disagree. This was always a rebuilding season.
  21. I know he was playing like a rookie - but I think we could be 4-4 if he hadn’t gotten hurt...
  22. He might know a lot more than we do. As this season moves along, I’m starting to think that the brain trust knew how things would probably go. I’m sure they hoped for the best, but knew this was a rebuild.
  23. This seems obvious, but needs to be said. I don’t think we’ve really even seen Daboll’s offense. We’ve seen the offense he calls to try to maximize the results from our limitations.
