  1. It’s hard to remember a season I was less into at this point. I just want the Patriots to lose.
  2. It was great to break the drought, but last year’s team was kind of an overachieving illusion. It gave us unrealistic expectations. I think we’ll look back on this season as being tough, but necessary.
  3. We’ll appreciate having a clutch kicker much more when we’re a contender. It’s really important to have a kicker you can count on in big games.
  4. It’s cool to have a revenge game from the PLAYOFFS.
  5. I haven’t seen any of the rooks do the kind of hurdle that Allen did against the Vikings. That’s the kind of swagger I enjoy seeing.
  6. I’m glad we have the one guy who had Mahomes as a “generational talent.”
  7. Um, no. Because Allen was #1 in some boards and Mahomes never was.
  8. Allen was #1 on some boards. Mahomes NEVER was.
  9. I agree with all of that - but man is that 2nd paragraph me. The last few years, I have even noticed that when they win, I get almost as bummed as I do when the Bills lose. I pay way too much attention to them on Sundays. It’s not a healthy situation. And Brady is declining. He’s still one of the best, but much more human lately. It’s encouraging.
  10. I feel like thinking Mahomes was going to be who he is compares to people in the ‘60’s generation saying they were at Woodstock. Very few had Mahomes as a real option for the Bills that draft. Most would have lost it if we picked him in the first.
  11. Who has the D in the AFC? The Pats are just as bad, as are the Steelers. And the other favorites have lesser offenses. I guess the Chargers are a little more balanced. But I still see this as the Chiefs’ year.
  12. Gronk, Edelman and Brady are really the core of this current team - and each has 1or 2 years left. I know we’re always hesitant to talk about this. It’s like “he who must not be named” or something. But the end of the run is close for that team.
  13. I feel bad for him. He was handled as poorly as any QB I can remember, and put into some truly untenable situations, Almost Kobayashi Maru-like.
  14. We’ve been through a lot as fans. More than most fan bases. Much more. It’s not always easy within the hard slog of a season like this to remember why we’re fans. I mean, we were out of contention by Halloween. The first time that happens to a millennial Pats fan, they’ll fold, and remember that they’re all about the Celtics anyway. No worry about that with us. This thing, weirdly, is in our blood. We’ll die rooting as hard for the Bills as we ever did, no matter what happens. But sometimes we question why, and that’s cool. But sometimes the universe answers - like today. We won’t make the playoffs, but man, is there hope. This is how our team can look. We have some budding young superstars, and the future is bright. I love the Buffalo Bills. I love being a Bills fan. I wouldn’t trade it with anyone.
  15. That entire plan sounds good.
  16. In the old days, this would at least have us in playoff contention.
  17. I might even look at the tape after this one.
  18. Can’t help it - I feel a little better.
  19. What a great day. I believe that it’s time to commence some serious drinking.
  20. White flag. So rare for the Pats.
  21. Welcome to your future, New Englanders.
  22. Pats gonna lose. Only 4 games back!
