  1. It’s a little cartoonish at this point. Really scraping the barrel for some sort of dis.
  2. I’m old enough to have also endured Miami’s dominance. The positive is that when it’s over, it’s over. You don’t look back, and relish every win against them that follows.
  3. What an endurance test getting through this dynasty.
  4. Lol A Pats fan coming to the Bills board to gloat about a playoff win. During the game. Winner!
  5. Chargers just didn’t show up. The time zone thing probably does deserve some credit.
  6. I don’t really care about the team at this point. The fan base is intolerable, though.
  7. The NFL playoffs are now the equivalent of a month-long dentist appointment.
  8. They just play at a different level. And it is ruining the nfl for me.
  9. The Chargers are supposed to have a pass rush
  10. I always crack up when people refer to Buffalo as some kind of undesirable location. At this point in my life, I’ve lived in over a dozen places around the country, and visited many more. Few have been as beautiful as Western NY, and nowhere have the people been as down to earth and just cool to be around. I’m sure there is some hometown bias there and I get that it’s no Laguna Beach, but it’s an awesome place. Just look at how much it won over guys like Jim Kelly after they spent time here.
  11. Kind of heartless. It doesn’t have to be a kicker - every player makes crucial mistakes. How can you not at least have a bit of empathy when they do?
  12. It’s a good team. But man, is it hard to win there in the playoffs. Rivers has to be in peak form. Here’s hoping. They do have a great pass rush, so there’s that. A big part of the proverbial blueprint.
  13. I always feel for kickers in those situations. I know that’s their job, but it can be the loneliest job in the world sometimes.
  14. “The Hurdle.” Knew then that we had found our QB.
  15. Let’s just face it. Pats to the SB, again - and we just hope the the NFC team makes a big play at the end. Groundhog Day.
  16. I love this game. I’m with the other old timers who don’t need arena football to be entertained.
  17. Wow. This is is why the Pats win every year. They actually want to win.
  18. I hate this. Chargers are the better team.
  19. Chargers should have put this away by now. It will be a gift to the Pats if the Ravens can steal it.
  20. It’s just one game, so this is the ultimate hot take - but I really don’t see the fuss about Jackson. He looks like a back up.
  21. I’d like to be in Boston the moment we win the division next year. There will be some interesting expressions.
  22. I would go as far to say that if there was a re-draft and we had the top pick, I’d want the Bills to pick him over the other guys. Mayfield is great and I love his game and attitude, but Allen just seems like more of a Buffalo kind of guy. Probably because he reminds me a bit of Kelly. They used to say that Kelly had a linebackers toughness and mentality, and I see that in Josh. Especially whe he tried to strip the ball on that pick 6.
  23. I could have posted this verbatim. I watch some college ball. I know only the tiniest fraction of what our scouts and guys like Beane know about football - so when they draft someone, I’m all in, pretty much immediately. Obviously, if we have decision makers who repeatedly blow drafts, it invites more skepticism. But Beane hasn’t done anything to diminish giving him the benefit of the doubt. So, I was excited about Allen from the start. Now that I’ve seen Allen play, and exhort teammates in the sideline, and hurdle defenders - I’m over the moon. We endured a QB search for the ages - since Clinton was President, and there was no such thing as a message board. And we finally found the guy. I have no doubt - we will be watching Josh Allen under center for many years.
  24. Zay has kind of become an underrated player here. He still had a few bad games, but the improvement from year 1 to 2 was huge. I still think he can be a good #2. He’ll benefit more than anyone from the Bills getting a true #1. And we got the most important piece - the franchise QB. We’ll probably keep a few more guys than are listed in the OP for depth, but I expect free agency and the draft to be very focused on O line and WR.
