    Why is Smith considered so much better than Taylor? Does O’leary catch that ball if it’s from Smith instead?

    How are people saying this? His left arm was pinned against his body prior to the ball arriving. No - for anyone who has watched football for more than 2 games, you can’t just as easily say he dropped it.

    I’m amazed he’s getting heat for that play. One arm was completely pinned down. It’s incredibly silly to insist he should have made that catch.

    That’s probably true for most of the reign, but human nature is human nature. We’re talking about 3 massive egos - and they’re all starting to consider the legacy. This is the end, imo. I think the Pats win this year, and won’t be recognizable in 3 years.

    I want this Sunday to be a scrappy, pieced-together win. Pick 6, good special teams play, one defensive breakdown for the Jags and a few long field goals. Then, we’ll need Taylor’s best game next week.

    I really can’t see McCoy missing this game, given the recent updates. The Jags are really being portrayed as some kind of jaugernaut. I don’t see anyone nationally giving us much of a shot. If they had to play in our division, they’d probably be 8-8.

    Can’t see him falling out of the top 5. He he had a rough night overall but still showed why there is so much buzz. I’d be thrilled if the Bills got him. He’d have to sit for a year, but long term he’d be worth it.

    I don’t know why we can’t keep Taylor for another year and still draft a guy in the 1st. I’m probably old school, but I think most rookie QB’s really benefit from holding a clipboard for awhile.

    It just got about 30% harder to part ways with Taylor. A win over the Jags puts that well over 50%. Beating the Patriots in round 2? He stays until he retires.

    I’d be surprised if he didn’t suit up on Sunday. He won’t be 100%, but no way he misses this game.
