    That’s fair. If they do go for it, I’m all in. If they don’t and we get someone like Jackson and keep our picks, I’ll still be pretty stoked about the season. I think these guys know what they’re doing. I’m sure today was a setback, but I doubt they’re devastated about it.

    I think they may stay put and go that route. McCarron can really sling it. Coach him up and use all of our picks to build a great young team.

    Maybe, but we need to step back a bit, imo. Prior to our trade to 12, getting into the top 5 was a pipe dream. I don’t think they necessarily have to panic now. It’s a very good QB class, but perhaps a bit overrated. Do we really want to give up what it would take to get to 1 or 2 now?

    I hear you, and agree with a lot of that. I certainly wasn’t happy about this news, but we’re not the only team that wants one of these guys. Gotta see how it goes from here, but I still trust...

    The Jets did great. That doesn’t mean the Bills lost. Not that I want the Jets to be good, but I’m glad to see other AFCe teams making these moves. Sick of the Pats benefiting from our collective incompetence

    Probably more than a dozen posts so far saying Beane should be fired now if this or that doesn’t happen.

    I wonder what Beane’s reaction was. I like to think that he just shrugged and moved on to the next plan.

    Seriously? More future picks may not be on their radar as much if the feel like they can win now with Luck and maybe a defender they have their eye on at 6.

    Maybe not. They may have a player they covet who they think won’t drop to 12. Regardless, I don’t want a GM who pays way more than he should this far ahead of draft day. I can’t believe how some are talking about this.

    Check YouTube if you haven’t yet. I know some highlights are just the best throws, but I was impressed. He throws with some guts and can put nice touch on the ball.

    I agree with you on the first part. But I wish people wouldn’t talk about trading like it’s automatic. Those teams have to want to trade.

    Hard to see a trade for Foles now. We got our vet backup. Frankly, I kind of want to see what Mccarron can do.

    Our biggest problem right now is that we convinced ourselves that we’d trade to the top 5 after we traded to 12. That was never a given.

    I think this is a false hope. Eli is old. I know Giants fans who would be more upset than we are today if they trade that pick.

    No matter how many picks we had, the jets still had a better 1st rounder to offer this year. Everyone is talking like this should have been so easy. Too many teams need a QB.
