Bills at Texans Playoff Game, Saturday 4:35 pm
Success replied to wppete's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It's crazy to think what I was doing & where I was in my life the last time we won a playoff game. This team has tested us, for sure. But it really has to end now. I have immense respect for Houston & they won't be a pushover - but the Bills have to do whatever it takes. L. F. G. -
Refs for the Bills game are... (updated weekly)
Success replied to Just Jack's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I hope this is the 1st game ever where afterwards, I pound my fist against the couch arm and exclaim, "Man, was that a perfect game of officiating!" I realize it's not likely. But hope is a good thing. -
Your ideal playoff scenario to the SB (AFC)
Success replied to PatsFanNH's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Beating the Pats in the AFCCG, at Gillette, would erase a whole lotta demons. Part of me freaks out a little at the idea of making the SB. After going through those 4 losses, I have this idea in my head that I only want the team to go back if it's a guaranteed win. But it never is. So, may as well be this year. -
You keep saying that. It isn't true. The Pats are a team whose offense is bad because they hung onto an aging QB too long, and forgot to give him people who could actually get open and catch the ball. The Bills offense is just getting started. Hope ya enjoy watching it after the Titans end your dynasty on Saturday.

Bills' mishandling of the CB position
Success replied to Giuseppe Tognarelli's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We have more depth on this team, at basically every position, than we've had since the '90's. If something has been mishandled, I missed it. -
NE fans are hating life right now. Lookie here...
Success replied to Peace Frog's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'll relish every loss & losing season they have for the rest of my days. Can you imagine winning for as long as they have and reacting like 90% of those posters did after a loss like today? Goes to show that your team can win, but that sure doesn't make you a winner.... -
Around the League: Week 17

Miami had 2 plays they probably could have won on, and blew them both. It’s such a drag watching the Pats pull another one out. -
I think I'd rather have the Titans as #6 seed

ESPN had the "Four Falls of Buffalo" on tonight also. That always cheers me up. -

He’s amazing. How many SBs do you think the mighty Brady would have if McCarthy had been his coach all these years? It’s a team game. -
The three primary goals vs the *Patriots
Success replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
McD is not 0-6 against BB. It has to be a top priority to beat that team - always, every time. -
The group I was watching with was basically screaming that the whole game. Just take him out - let Harry or LaCosse beat you. Do the Belichick. It was a strange defensive gameplan. Seemed pretty vanilla - maybe they are playing possum until the playoffs. Would be great to see NE again & then pull out all of the stops at that point. I feel like BB reached deep into his bag of tricks just to beat us.

Patriots Fans are Some of the Worst Fans in Sports
Success replied to JGMcD2's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I can't deal w/ Pats fans anymore, at all. I've basically cut them off - it's pretty babyish, but I don't care at all. Work relationships, friendships, the works. I won't vacation up there anymore. Done. And it feels fine. -
Edelman admits faking head injury in Bills game
Success replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Don’t like him. Never will. -
Bad game. It happens.

It’s the same for the rest of the division. Tough for sure - but let’s see how next year’s rendition of the Patriots fares against a much tougher slate of teams.

2019 Playoffs. 1st round
Success replied to SlimShady'sSpaceForce's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It will be good to see how Allen does in a playoff game. He's done great so far when the lights are brightest - Thanksgiving, the Steelers, even yesterday. I hope that guy ends up with 20+ playoff wins, and a handful of rings. This could just be win #1 and the start of an amazing run. At least, it's fun to think about it that way. -
Will Allen run more in the Playoffs?
Success replied to SCBills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I never want to see a designed run for Allen again, personally. Cool w/ the scrambles, but it never really works when we make him the back on purpose. -
THE ROCKPILE REVIEW - Patriots Win Again
Success replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It's the whole "chess/checkers" thing that people have said ad nauseum, but correctly. It's true about BB. I think McD is A1, but BB is just head & shoulders above everyone. It's enough to make you cry "that's not fair" like you would have in 3rd grade playing against the big kids. New England will never beat themselves. We gave them all they could handle, but they still found a way, as they always do. They made some plays where all I could do was shake my head. Some of those fakes Brady executes are unlike any other QB - I have to watch the replay twice just to figure out what happened. Hate it. Hate all of it. Must end. -
If you could swap QBs with any team right now
Success replied to Max Fischer's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I’d take Allen over anyone. I get that this is pure homer talk, but the guy was born to play in Buffalo. He was a Bill before he became a Bill. -
If everyone isn’t exactly as excited about Allen as I am, they’re wrong. Fans always let the perfect be the enemy of the good. Of course he has tons of room for improvement, but he will and already has. He has everything you need in a franchise QB - particularly how he plays in the 4th, on prime time and in big moments.

Honestly, we’d probably be the tougher out for them. I’m sure Pats fans will be pulling for us against the Ravens if we get that far, but man, is it hard to beat the same team 3x in a season. Would love to see it. Beating that team in an AFCCG would erase a lot of demons for me.
