  1. In a universe (starting w/ BB) where almost every character has been either morally compromised or genuinely bad, Lalo may be the baddest & most menacing. Tony Dalton is fantastic. And Rhea S. should definitely get an Emmy.
  2. BB and Brady, in both of their primes, could have probably gone to 80% of the rosters in the league and contended for a SB.
  3. We've been doing this a month. Over 20 million have lost jobs already. I'm not one of those who thinks this is any kind of hoax, but at some point you have to look at the risk of the virus vs. the risk of millions of lives being ruined & thrown into poverty. Sports can't wait a year. Start without fans. Move to partially filled stadiums. And so on. But they need to get on w/ it sooner rather than later.
  4. I could go to a game & watch Tre the whole time, and be exhilarated the whole time. He's one of those pure football players - great skills, great focus, great instincts. People compare him to Gilmore, saying he's still 2nd, but I won't have any of that. Gilmore mailed it in while he was here too much. I don't elevate players who only give their best when the situation is perfect for them or they're playing for a "winner." I'll never respect Gilmore.
  5. BB is a GENIUS COACH. He is also the most overrated GM of all time. What GM wouldn't love the following? 1) GOAT QB 2) GOAT QB taking less money every year to allow for a better roster 3) FA's taking less money to play w/ GOAT QB 4) FA's making NE their #1 destination to play w/ GOAT QB 5) GOAT QB makes players better than they are BB's drafts are consistently middlin'. There was a ranking where his 2nd round picks over the past 5 years (someone actually ranked that) were in the bottom 5. We'll see how great of a GM he is without Brady. Give me a break.
  6. I've been counting for over 7,000 days for Brady to leave New England. The Bills are playing football this year.
  7. Whenever I read any fanbase's message board after a big playoff loss, officials are generally a focus. There are always calls that fans point to as "the reason." I've even seen Pats fans do this, which seems impossible, since they have gotten every favorable call since Tom Brady arrived there. I'm aware of this quality in myself. I have the homer gene - I always feel like we get the short end of the stick. All that said, the Houston game was egregious. I saw no indication that it all "evened out." The calls against us were horrendous, and game-changing. Those calls affect perception, and legacies. Every time I see other fans talk about Allen, it's about the "meltdown" in the Houston game. But he did what the greats do - he overcame his mistakes to lead the Bills on what SHOULD have been a game-winning drive, before a phantom call ended it. I fully endorse the OP.
  8. I think the season ends up starting a month or so later, but (sadly) without fans in the stadiums. Or maybe they can work something out where fans can spread out & stadiums are only half capacity, or something like that. Probably a late February/early March SB.
  9. Never understood the CC hate. I really enjoy his commentary....
  10. BC, in all seriousness, I expect Bills fans to not fall into the "accuracy" trap that people who don't watch Allen play as much assume. Accuracy is one area where "eye test" evaluations are acceptable. Allen isn't like EJ and his "zip code" accuracy. He floats some long passes, Like ALL QB's do (see: Jimmy G, 4th quarter, SB). But without a true #1 receiver, Allen was pretty money last year. Lots of dropped passes along the way, but he wasn't all over the place. The accuracy critique is way overblown, imo.
  11. I loved/love "Breaking Bad," "Sons of Anarchy," "Better Call Saul," "Boardwalk Empire," and the 1st 5-6 seasons of "Walking Dead." I don't like "Billions" or the last few seasons of "Walking Dead." With that limited information, would anyone be able to tell me if I'd like "Ozark" and if it's worth getting into?
  12. I'd suggest nicknaming him "cheetah," but the Pats already have a lock on that...
  13. Patriots fans are rejoicing. Apparently, he had some significant anti-Pats bias, which I was never aware of (likely because I have a strong anti-Pats bias myself). I always liked him. I like most of the guys that usually get criticized - him, Collinsworth, Booger. I don't have a very high bar for announcing.
  14. The Buffalo Bills are an official franchise in the NFL. Josh Allen is the starting QB of the Buffalo Bills. Ergo, Josh Allen is a franchise QB. I'll be around all day if anyone has any additional questions.
  15. I think I remember one year during the drought when we had 18 guys on IR. I'm really enjoying the Pegula/McDermott/Beane era so far....
  16. It’s been said here, but finding an effective treatment is more of a key for the year ahead. If they have something that dramatically changes the outlook if you contract it, sure I’d go...
  17. Kind of a bogus time for the world. But it’s a great time to be a Bills fan. I thoroughly enjoyed that read.
  18. They've also shown the 28-3 game at least 3x in the past week. That really was a horror show. I'm still scarred, and I don't even like the Falcons.
  19. In the past few weeks, Pats fans have gone from inconsolable to convincing themselves that Stidham is their Young/Rogers-type heir, and that they won't miss a beat. I swear; it almost makes the 20 year purgatory worth it to see how they slowly come around to the fact that they're just like everyone else now. I hope they don't find a franchise QB until cars are obsolete.
  20. There were so many “we chose the wrong Josh” posts. So glad we got Allen. I’d rather have him right now than Rosen, Darnold or Mayfield. Just seems like he was born to play in Buffalo.
  21. Nuthin’ but love from this long time fan. He has everything he needs to be great. All of the skills, competitive fire and intangibles. He’s obsessive about correcting mistakes. Take away that lateral - which didn’t hurt us - and he has played his best in the biggest moments. Prime time games like Dallas and Pittsburgh, and so many big 4th quarter plays and comebacks. Josh Allen is going to get this city its first Lombardi. I’m sure of it.
  22. I'd go as far to say that they don't have a Lombardi today without him. He was spectacular in the playoffs. We sound like bitter ex's on this thread. It's not Sammy's fault that they overtraded for him in the draft, or that they moved on from him later. He's still an excellent WR and playmaker.
  23. The one play I remember is on that 10 minute drive to start the 3rd quarter. It was 3rd and very long, and 3 Bills missed 3 easy tackles that would have stopped that drive. That seemed hungover to me, or at least lethargic. They weren't playing championship football. It may just be overblown legend - but that Bills team should have handled that Giants team fairly easily, and they didn't. Maybe the moment was just too big, or maybe Belichick's D really does deserve to be in the HOF. But it still feels to this day like they didn't take an insanely important game as seriously as they should have.
  24. Norwood did not lose the SB. He’s a convenient fall guy. The Bills as a team partied that week away. That was an easy win against an inferior team with a backup QB. Blowing the Raiders out was probably the worst thing that could have happened. Too much overconfidence.
