2020 NFL Draft Round 2 and 3 Discussion.

I've had exes say that before tearing my heart out of my chest, gnawing at it, throwing it on the ground & then stomping on it. So, there's that. -

The time w/ Duggar was just to trick Belichick. Mission accomplished. -

ESPN is like a necessary evil for me. They're definitely annoying. But they're also all about sports. So they can't be all bad. -

Drafts are good character builders. Epic patience required (especially when you trade your 1st). -

Pats fans online don't seem to be enjoying the Duggar pick much. It's heartwarming. I wanted to share. -

It would be funny if this isolation-inspired draft finally revealed that the Patriots are supernatural beings that wielded unusual powers over mankind. -

Can't wait to see how brilliant BB looks without the goat QB taking pay cuts and attracting the best FA's, who also take pay cuts. And who also makes most players look better. -

Man, is it nice to go into a draft with 100% faith in the Bills GM & brain trust. -
At 54 the Bills will take? Your guess here!!

I just check Kiper's Big Board, and ask..."what's the opposite?" -
Biggest concert “miss”, biggest concert “letdown”?
Success replied to 4_kidd_4's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Great topic! I'm an old timer, so here goes: 1) Led Zeppelin. I was pretty young and it would have been my 1st show - I got a little scared about it because of the occult stuff I had heard about Jimmy Page & just how heavy they were at the time. That would have been an amazing 1st show, though (my real 1st show ended up being REO Speedwagon a year later - a fun show, but really, by comparison...) 2) This is sacrilege, because I absolutely love this man's music, but Springsteen was a disappointment for me. I like a nice, tight show that leaves me wanting a little more. I wanted no more at all after seeing Bruce. Almost 4 hours. It felt endless, and just wore me out. Nirvana would have been a great one for sure. I watched a concert of theirs recently on TV, and the energy was off the charts. -
Better Call Saul: Season 5 Trailer - 23 Feb
Success replied to /dev/null's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Thank you! I could not figure out what that was. That show (and BB) don't do anything by accident. I heard an interview w/ Odenkirk where he speculated that fans might be thinking a lot less about his character breaking bad, and much more about who the heck Kim Wexler is. I think Saul started slow. I thought the 1st few seasons were great, but a much more methodical and with less fulfilling set of arcs than BB. Now, it is easily just as good, and may even surpass. Kim & Lalo are 2 of the most compelling characters I've seen in that universe. And it's great to see that "star is born" thing w/ both Rhea S. and Tony D. Both have been working for a long time, and now they will likely be in high demand (if people get back to filming stuff again at some point, that is....) -
Gronkowski dead Cap: Pat's Fail
Success replied to BBillsWestCoast's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I really hope this season takes place. The Pats are really set up for a bad one - would be nice to grab a sweep against them after all of these years. -
People make too much of Darnold's meltdown against the Pats. He still has a ton of talent. I think it's going to he & Allen for many years ahead, almost like Marino & Kelly. Gotta love it, though. The Phins & Pats will be struggling to keep up. I love the idea of the Bills & Pats battling for 1st every year. It won't compute for Pats fans.

Gronk interested in coming back..to Tampa Update: Traded!
Success replied to Rubes's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
On the Pats boards & twitter, roughly 50% of the fans have said something along the lines of "I'm a Pats fan, but I'll definitely be rooting for Tampa this year." They have a lot of Lombardi's, but it's not even close when it comes to determining who has the better fanbase. I'm sooooo glad I'm a Bills fan. -
Any chance Tua lands in New England?

New England? The team that used to be relevant? -
We tend to be pretty unforgiving of 1st rounders who don't pan out as promised. It's like a Bills tradition (though I know other teams do it as well). EJ wasn't very good, but let's face it: Buffalo was NOT a place for QB's to develop for the vast majority of the 2000's. We had all kinds of QB's come through that revolving door - experienced vets, promising youngsters, other team's cast-offs...the works. None made it. During the drought years, after Moulds/Price, we were never a hotbed of receiving talent, better than below-average line play, or decent coaching. Obviously, things have changed, but I really have no bad feelings about EJ, and it was nice to read that he's in a good place. It's not his fault that the Bills reached.

Look up her Grammy performance w/ St. Vincent if you haven't seen it. I defy anyone to watch that and answer no to the OP.
