  1. He was glued to Metcalf, Perfect throw.
  2. It was mean to post this.
  3. I don't think it's a stretch to say that Milano is the heart of this defense. He's the one guy who seems to make that kind of difference. It's like night & day when he isn't in there...
  4. I go way back - but I can't remember being more excited than I was about Cam's fumble last Sunday...
  5. I'm really happy w/ what I've seen from Moss. It seems like they have been gradually working him back in since his injury, and he has made the most of his opportunities. He shows good awareness out there & really keeps his legs moving after 1st contact....
  6. Only in hot take world. People need to realize that the Giants have a poorly constructed team right now. Guys like Sheperd and Engram are solid, but Jones has almost no O-line and lost one of the best RB's in the league early this season. Too early to call him a bust, imo.
  7. First meaningful win we've had against the Pats since email became a thing, and ALL anyone talked about after that game was Cam & the end of the dynasty. Which concerns me not at all. We've had a few years where we were hyped and fizzled. I'd rather go under the radar and then when we make a deep playoff run, have pundits say, "oh, yeah - the Bills."
  8. Patriots fans on twitter were ridiculing McDermott for saying it was an emotional win for Buffalo, and for that general sentiment. Seriously? That team has owned us for 20 years, and aside from the Sam Adams & Fitz games, this fanbase has had to endure what very few other fanbases could even begin to comprehend. Blowout losses, agonizingly close losses, pulling losses from the jaws of victory, fumbling at the one yard line, fumbling a game-clinching punt return, throwing picks in the endzone on potential game-winning drives, watching Brady throw insane dimes for improbable game-winning drives. It's all there. I was a nutcase on Sunday. I'm glad no one was filming it. It was like we won 10 Super Bowls. And for any lurking Pats fans, if there are any here, it was the first of many. That game felt like the start of a new era. Here's hoping for many sweeps in the years ahead.
  9. I've seen them play quite a bit this year. It's a fun team, and Wilson is playing out of his mind. He has a lot of targets to throw to. But so does Allen, and the Hawks also have nearly as many flaws as we do. Their defense can be just as inconsistent as ours, and they can tend to play to the level of their opponent. I think Allen & the O can keep up with Wilson. It should be a great game. I don't see us as being outclassed in any way.
  10. This will be a big "I'm still here" game for Josh Allen. After being in the MVP conversation a month into the season, there have been a lot of "fool's gold" type of comments among the punditry and other fanbases (and even this fanbase), and that he is the same guy he was last year. I don't see that. I actually thought he played pretty well against TN, and yesterday, considering the conditions. Even the KC game wasn't that bad. But I think he gets back on track in a big way this week. I see a high scoring game & Bills W.
  11. Agreed - it's really been the 1st time I've questioned his moves. It feels like we could have kept Shaq or Phillips, or even both. Our D would be much more what we've been used to had we done that. Shaq hurt the most, imo - I understand why we have to let some guys go eventually, but he was a high draft pick and was performing up to expectations. He'd make such a difference on this year's defense.
  12. I've heard this everywhere. Apparently, style points DO matter in the NFL. They're winning by more over the past few weeks, while we're struggling for our W's. I'm cool w/ it. After finally vanquishing the Pats, there is literally NO WAY the Bills will cede this division to the rookie-starting, Fitz-betraying Dolphins.
  13. That was PI - not even disputable. What were the other refs even saying to the guy who threw the flag? "Hey, the Bucs are the new Patriots...didn't you get the memo?"
  14. Their message boards are a pretty joyous experience. All of the early November conversations we used to have - talking about the draft, who the good QB prospects are, etc. Also the obligatory "if this had happened in that game, and that had happened in this game, we'd have a winning record...."
  15. Here we go w/ the bandwagon...
  16. I had one demon, and their team fumbled the ball & their dynasty away yesterday with under a minute to go.
  17. It's easy to say Edmunds - but he has also made some outstanding plays, and I think we need to keep in mind that the guy is only 22. I still think his ceiling is way up there. I wouldn't say Tre has been disappointing, because overall, he has been & is still one of our best players. He just doesn't seem to be playing as well this year - both in shutting down who he's assigned to, and making the occasional pick or big play. It's very possible that the nagging back issue is slowing him. We need to be more stout upfront. That lack of size has made a lot of other positions look "not quite as good" as we would expect...
  18. I mean, it's a little tough to gauge from yesterday. The conditions were just bad, for both QB's. I thought Allen made good decisions yesterday, all things considered. If you look at most of the passes on both sides, neither QB was trying to thread any needles. They mainly threw it when guys were pretty open.
  19. The Bills are 6-2. Therefore, the Bills are good.
  20. It's kind of funny reading the Pats boards right now. They think a rebuild is a matter of "if you do X and then Y, you'll be back in contention by Z." They may be back competing, and they may not. I remember when Shula was the feared coach - until the league caught up w/ him and he got older. I'm not sure that I fear BB as much as I used to without Brady. I don't doubt his abilities as coach, but I don't think he's a great GM. And it may take them as long to find a replacement for Brady as it has for us to replace Kelly.
  21. Nah. Celts aren't built well, and keep getting knocked out in the same round of the playoffs. The benefits from that Brooklyn deal are over, and they've basically hit a ceiling, while 4-5 other teams in the East continue to get better. And the Bruins are definitely done. That team is in for a rebuild now just like the Pats.
  22. He called us the "pathetic Bills Mafia" this offseason, and also said the Bills would be a "tomato can" for the Pats yet again. How ya like us now, Danny? Welcome back to the true golden age of Boston sports (a.k.a. back to being the lovable losers....)
  23. Pure, unadulterated joy. No qualifications, no fine print, no "but the defense..." We're 6-2, and have a healthy lead in the AFC East. And we beat the Pats in the 1st truly meaningful game for both teams since the '90's.
  24. I'm 100% sold on Allen. I loved how he played today.
  25. It was still Bill "GOAT" Belichick on the sidelines over there. I don't care how many guys were out on the Patriots. It was never a given that we were going to run away w/ this one, no matter how good we're supposed to be. Given the conditions, the fact that we put up 24 is noteworthy. The offense did its job. The D had an outstanding 1st half, and made the big play when it counted in the 2nd. I don't really get the hand-wringing. Beating THAT team in a crucial division game, to get to 6-2 and a commanding division lead? That can't possibly be ugly. That's a beautiful thing.
