  1. We're crushing this team. On a good day - I don't think anyone can beat us.
  2. I love how we're looking today.
  3. I've never seen anyone shift the goalposts as much as you consistently do.
  4. In that game, Beasley had a broken leg, Diggs had an oblique injury, John Brown had an ankle injury, and Gabe Davis had a knee injury. Allen's top 4 receivers were all playing hurt and much less effective - as evidenced by the fact that none of his receivers came close to getting any separation the entire game, and had to deal w/ officials allowing KC's DB's to interfere w/ them all day. We're seeing now how Mahomes is when he doesn't have incredible receivers to throw to. He isn't bored - he's just not on another level from Allen like many fans think.
  5. Man, as a Bills fan since the '80's and a Yankees fan (who only became a baseball fan after 2009) - it's truly astounding how many gut-wrenching, "game with name" losses I've experienced in my lifetime. I hate that I'm almost starting to expect it. But, tonight was just game 1. Still a long series.
  6. Have you watched the games? Mahomes has nothing to prove. But he's been pedestrian this season.
  7. I'm pulling for Tua. Not the Phins (of course) - but I'm pulling for Tua.
  8. Can we just appreciate how great it feels to go into almost every single Sunday expecting to win? For the young 'uns - it was not always this way. For too long.
  9. I remember fans were so panicky after he had a couple of splashy plays in the opener. The trade & the picks can't be fully evaluated for 2-3 years. But give me Coleman all day, every day.
  10. I guess "lost a step" is the new hip phrase for "playing insanely well." Kind of like when people used "bad" to actually mean "good."
  11. We're getting hit w/ injuries - but at least nothing season-ending so far. The key for us is finally getting to the playoffs in relatively good shape.
  12. Reid is a fantastic coach. He had McNabb, and dominated the NFC during many of those years. Not that McNabb was a bad QB, but I wouldn't call him elite. I'm not sure if he plans to retire - but it would be very interesting to see how the mighty Mahomes looks if he does retire. No one will ever convince me that Allen wouldn't have at least a couple of rings with Reid or someone at his level as his coach.
  13. I agree that Cooper is often inconsistent, and also agree that he's the best for us. The thing w/ Cooper is that regardless of consistency, he changes the defense's focus & strategy. I think we already saw some of the results of that on Sunday - he opens things up for Coleman, Shakir & others.
  14. What's a crowd supposed to yell when Hopkins gets a catch? Nothing like "Cooooooooooooop!!!" Cooper all day;
  15. Nope. Henry looks great - but he's old for a RB, and the mileage is likely to catch up with him by January.
  16. His #'s are way down this year. I'm definitely curious if that was a product of where he was, or if he's just getting old. Good move for the Chiefs either way. They needed a receiver.
  17. You don't get the idea that a SB is a team accomplishment? Really?
  18. He's really emerging as a legit threat on this offense. He keeps getting better w/ each game, which is what you want w/ rookies. All of a sudden, our WR room looks really solid - Cooper, Shakir & Coleman are a really good top 3.
  19. The Jets are really a woeful organization. I didn't think Saleh was necessarily a great or good coach, but he has had some bad circumstances & firing him when they did was ridiculous (imo). I mean, how'd that work out for them? Their season is pretty close to over at this point. They just seem in complete disarray. I actually feel bad for their fans - but not the franchise or ownership.
  20. Watching some highlights - I have no idea how Codrington stayed on his feet during the kick-off return that started our 1st scoring drive. The player on the coverage team picked him up and spun him around, and he just landed on his feet and kept going. Incredible balance. And that return really gave us a spark when we needed it.
  21. I had to travel yesterday, so only watched the 1st half. I was pretty bummed about how we looked, and was thinking that I was overrating this team in my own head & that they were pretty average (at best). It's crazy that it was 10-7 at the half, and we ended up winning 34-10. That's as dramatic as turnarounds get. One thing that I have to credit the coaching staff with - they make good halftime adjustments. We've really seen this all season, where we can look pretty bad in the 1st half and then come out looking like a different team in the 2nd.
  22. They used to blow teams out. They don't anymore. This is their least scary year, imo.
  23. Thanks. Emotion got the best of me.
  24. They are. They are better run & better coached. I don't think that's disputable.
