  1. Too bad w/ Bass - felt like he was getting his confidence back w/ the long kick.
  2. I'll tell ya - that play call on 4th was NOT GOOD. It can't be drop back and scan the field for the open guy.
  3. Great to get the fumble - but the D doesn't look like it made any adjustments. The DB's all sprint backwards on just about every play. It always seems like we're so afraid.
  4. Gotta win now. I don't want to be thinking about that phantom call - truly phantom - the whole week. I'm really having a hard time letting that go. It was the 2nd holding call in a row. That's gotta be egregious to throw a flag - and instead, it didn't even exist.
  5. Honestly, at least it was good to see Bass make a long one. His confidence seems to be coming back.
  6. I just don't get that - 2 holding calls in a row had better be CLEAR. You are taking a team 20 yards back. I didn't even see anything on the 2nd call.
  7. We play such a safe defense. They have to be more disruptive. They have the personnel - the coaching needs to be more aggressive.
  8. Shouldn't Babich be adjusting to the fact that they're running w/ ease?
  9. Everyone says the Chiefs schedule is easy, but they could lose 3-4 games by the end (imo). They're winning a lot of one-play games, and the percentages will catch up w/ them. I still see them w/ the 1 seed, but I think it will still be up in the air heading into the last couple of weeks of the season. We have to beat them, and probably lose no more than 1 the rest of the way. Possible, but not probable. Getting the 2 seed wouldn't be so bad if it means a team like the Ravens would play KC in the divisional.
  10. That's what I was thinking last night. Like, why do my teams always find a way to beat themselves? That was just an utter disaster. I think I saw that was Judge's first error of the entire season.
  11. Sad to hear this. I always enjoyed his posts. RIP.
  12. Jets for sure. We need Houston to come to Buffalo if we meet them in the playoffs.
  13. Dolphins fans must hate us like we hated the Pats for all of those years. They really can't beat us - and I don't think they're going to start on Sunday. Not to sound arrogant about it, but it's just one of those match-ups. We have a harder time w/ worse teams, like the Jets & Pats.
  14. I choose to remember Diggs fondly - because he was instrumental in changing the culture here, and in JA becoming the QB that he is. He was great for a few years here. I was happy to see him go in the end, but this is terrible news. That's a devastating injury for a receiver in his 30's, who is coming up on a new contract. All the best to him.
  15. I don't think it's hyperbole to say that this would be the worst trade in Buffalo Bills history.
  16. I'm not in a hurry to lose great CB depth.
  17. He's really a perfect receiver for the Bills, and for Allen. I love how Allen can throw it to him even when he's pretty covered and he just fights for the ball & gets it. Allen needed a guy like that. The meltdowns here & nationally on draft day are getting more silly by the week. I still see opposing fans say "the Bills gave KC Worthy." Only if we were going to pick him - which we weren't. And he's not playing like a 1st round talent anyway.
  18. I feel as good about our chances this year as I have at any point since we got Allen. This is a really good TEAM, and they play very good complementary football. If could just be a little healthier come January, they could make a real run.
  19. This guy had some promise, but Pats fans don't seem to be too sad about losing him. Not a great pick-up, and not a bad one. Certainly not any kind of needle mover. They're getting by on aura this year. Teams are finding new ways to lose to them every week, but it's the least impressive Chiefs team I've seen in years.
  20. I like Brady & Belichick now. Which worries me, as this might be one of the signs of the apocalypse.
  21. The OP is correct. He's a gadget guy. The Bills did the right thing w/ that trade, and got a much more consistent threat w/ Coleman. KC is a pretender this year.
  22. This is as good a team as we've had. Maybe the gods will favor us this year.
  23. The narrative is becoming pretty clear on this one. Good job, Beane.
  24. Well, it's kind of when there is a goalpost - and you decide not to address that particular goalpost, and instead create another one. Or two. Your undefeated team is a complete pretender, btw. They're not bored. They're just not as good as the Bills.
