  1. Who remembers "I've got a feeling?"
  2. Man, I almost forgot about Carter. That dude is GOOD.
  3. The payoff is good.
  4. Yep. I need about another decade. Even if Maye pans out, they're not the organization they were. They've been terrible at drafting the past few years, and Pats fans complain that Kraft is pretty cheap (I think they're currently well under cap - kind of reminds me of the old days here). Though, it would be kind of fun if they were competitive again - but we were able to keep them out of 1st place consistently, kind of like how it was w/ the Dolphins in the '90s.
  5. Wow! What a play from Love....
  6. Man, these are 2 pretty solid teams. Both would be a tough out for any team.
  7. I mean, that was a little crazy. But it's scary too when your team plays them. When the Bills offense was really humming a few years back, I always thought it would be terrifying for the league if we decided to just not have a punter on the team.
  8. I love how Campbell just goes for it. If you do it every time, you'll get most of them if you're a good O - on balance, it's better for your chances.
  9. Don't tell Patriots fans. Maye will be the best QB in the league next year. As long as they get a good LT and WR, they'll be unstoppable.
  10. I hear you. However, I have spent most of 5+ decades "not jinxing." I'm not so sure it works. Maybe we should start talking w/ some confidence. Just a counter-point.
  11. I like him a lot. He's bombastic & opinionated, but that works as long as your opinions are decent. He's not like a Bayless or Wright, imo. He's not TRYING to be outrageous for clicks.
  12. Oh, for sure. I think about Marino when I say stuff like that. I hated playing against him at the time - but man, do I wish that guy (and Kelly) had rings. They both deserve it. I was glad Elway finally got his. Allen even moreso. He has brought so much to the game. I see even fans of divisional rivals say things like, I hate the Bills, but Allen is so fun to watch. He's one of the marquee players in the league & delivers some jaw-dropping play week in & week out. He has to get a title. It's a team game - but this team has to rally and figure it out.
  13. Man, we gotta win this year. If we didn't have Josh, I almost wouldn't care. But we're getting to a point where it's just wrong that this man - one of the ALL TIME GREATS - does not have a ring.
  14. Gotta say - the 4:00 slot is my favorite. Not as much pressure as a night game, but a little more prominent. And it's easier on my conscience to drink later afternoon over early afternoon.
  15. I doubt he would take that kind of thing. He would have been my 1st choice this offseason if McDermott had a bad season. But man, McD has really impressed me this year. I think he has improved in every facet - he's ready to slay the Chiefs demon and bring this city a title.
  16. All I know is that I haven't enjoyed a season this much since we went on that epic run after the "Hail Murray" that one season. What a blast. Feels like we're at worst one of the top 3 teams in the league, and we get to watch Josh Allen making another "what did he just do?!!!" play every single week.
  17. Maybe not the right thread for this, but the ending of "Frosty" always rubbed me the wrong way. The snowman that comes out of that puddle? It is NOT FROSTY. He doesn't remember anything. It's a brand new snowman. And we're supposed to feel good about that.
  18. I don't care about the stats. Josh Allen is the MVP of the league this year. If he finishes strong, he has to get it.
  19. I have a soft spot for the Lions & Vikes - if we made it and lost, it would ease the pain knowing that another fanbase that has truly suffered finally got one. But, I wouldn't be thinking that way if we lost. The floor would officially disappear for me, and I'd be in an endless freefall mentally. The universe wouldn't make sense, and I wouldn't be able to think about much as I discovered and navigated new levels of despair.
  20. Looking at some of the guys picked in the 1st & 2nd - I'm really glad we got Coleman (not factoring in "if we traded up)". Legette, Pearsall & Worthy have all been pretty underwhelming to me. Polk is genuinely bad. McConkey is great, but I really like what Coleman brings to the table for us.
  21. This! I would so love to see him be part of it when we get one.
  22. I was never that down on him - but he's been outstanding this season. He should be one of the finalists for coach of the year given that most expected this team to take a step back. I don't think he's a top 5 coach in the league, but he's one of the better ones. Coaching in the NFL in general is pretty bad.
  23. Al Sharia's was reckless & out of control. A bad hit. Gronk's was pre-meditated and retaliatory. Much dirtier by its very nature.
  24. What Gronk did was worse than Al Sharia's hit.
  25. Couple of things - Jeudy is hilarious. And this past year's QB class might be the best in many years.
