I hate hating the Chiefs this much. It's not healthy. And really, for me - it's Mahomes. He's not a likable guy, and he's a crybaby. -

They make Pats fans seem humble. -

Infuriating. Don't refs realize the rep they have when it's a KC game? -

Man, was that a good hold by the Texans D. -
William Fichtner. You'd recognize him.

The Ravens run game has already transcended into myth. And yet they lost 5 games, and we were probably a trick play fumble away from coming back in the 1st game. Can't wait until Sunday.

My confidence grows w/ each day. We played the best game of football I've ever seen any Bills team play - and really, any other team - the last time we had a sub-zero game. I think we'll thrive in this weather. The crowd will be insane. We're healthy. We have Josh Allen. And just to repeat - we have JOSH ALLEN.
-
I watched a lot of the Chiefs/Texans replay last night. The Texans hung w/ them really well - it really hurt when they lost Dell. They can compete. The match-up of their pass rushers against KC's tackles is their big advantage. If they get a couple of breaks, it could happen - obviously not likely, but it's not as lopsided as the narrative is.

That was one thing I noticed in the Pitt game last week. When he'd fake the handoff to Henry, it looked like everyone on the D went for it - no one stayed w/ Lamar, and he'd go off direction for a good gain. One guy should stay on him all game.

I thought that Pats playoff game was the coldest we'd ever see. Is the current forecast actually colder than that one?
-
I've seen that, for sure. It's the old Skip Bayless question. Does he really believe what he's saying - or is this all an act? Probably a little of both. I think Nick knows what his brand is - and it's not "objective analyst."
-
I wonder if we'll get a shirtless Fitz again. That image from the Pats game really embodies what it means to be a Buffalo Bills fan.

A reminder to everyone regarding the upcoming game

This has to be my biggest annoyance in sports - when people talk about QB vs. QB, and say things like "Mahomes always beats Allen in the playoffs." It is the most profoundly ignorant and irritating thing that gets argued, and it is unbelievably prevalent. A game w/ 53 players, 22 starters, tons of coaches - and it's talked about like it's tennis. -
I'd favor being better than bad fans. We don't have to match toxicity we might see in other fanbases. Buffalo fans can set their own bar, and set it high.
-
Do you really think that? I need some positivity about that game. I feel like the Texans have an underrated defense - but I'm at a loss to explain why their O has been so anemic at times. Losing Dell & Diggs is big, but they still have Collins & Mixon, and their other receivers are capable for the most part. I'd love it if they could put up a fight, but this game seems like such a foregone conclusion.
-
They can't keep getting away w/ this....

I'm a huge Lamar fan - but his last pass in that KC playoff game last year was absolutely mystifying. Triple coverage, and didn't have a chance. He still had time to work the ball downfield but took a completely unnecessary risk.

Random talking head says something about the Bills

Someone should tell Nick Wright that football isn't golf. -
I was nervous about this before the Pats WC game - and then I saw how responded. The players embraced it. Hopefully, we have the lead as the game progresses. It feels a lot colder when you're losing.
-
You're right. All this time I thought he missed the game. He actually did get injured in the game, but returned (I think he missed the next week, though).
-
That team was mentally exhausted by the time they faced Cincy in the playoffs. And it showed.
-
I love how the Bills really embraced that frigid WC game against the Pats a few years ago. You could tell in warm-ups which team was having a blast, and which team wanted to just be warm again. I see this as a big advantage for us. Maybe I read too much into it, but Jackson was really bundled up on the sidelines last week - he looked like he couldn't get warm enough. It will feel a lot colder for a visiting team if they get down in the score early.

The Ravens are a great team - but it's not like they have an '07 Pats offense and an '85 Bears defense. The way they're being hyped, you would think this is a complete mismatch. People are putting too much on that 1st game where they blew us out. That was a weird vibes game from the start - we had been on such a roll, and we just came out flat that day, which happens. We were also missing Shakir & 4 defensive starters (a 5th was lost early in the game). I feel fantastic about this game. I like that we're being overlooked, and that many are already talking about KC/Baltimore in the AFCCG. We're at home. We have the bigger chip on our shoulder. It will probably be close, but I could see a scenario where we win big.

Derrick Henry is like the Brady of RB's. Dude is 31. That is OLD for a RB. All season, I downplayed this potential match-up, because I was sure he would start to slow down as the season progressed and he'd look his age by the playoffs. And instead, he looked as good as ever this past Saturday. We've had such a hard time stopping him in the past. I hope McD & Babich can come up w/ something this time - just keeping him under 100 would be big.
