I agree but in a game of chess back and forth, especially against a coach who is considered one of the better play callers …you aren’t going to be perfect. If its all the time like in the Rex Ryan years, I would say its more of a problem. Its still a better option

The Ravens offense is going to be hard to stop just in general. We just need him to make a few big stops and would be huge. Not just a big 3rd down stop, something like its 2nd and 7 and he reads a play well, makes the big tackle at the LOS and its 3rd and 7 instead of 3rd and 2. I feel with Lamar and Henry, if its less than 3rd and 3….they’re picking it up every time. Keep them 3rd and long.

I say keep putting money into both trenches. Decent RB’s look great behind good OL and everything on defense works better when you wreak havoc up front.

Play clock. See, an offense only has 40 seconds to snap the ball. This prevents a team to just bleed the clock for very long periods of time. Basketball has something similar. You have 10 seconds to bring it past half court. Half court is the dividing line of a full court. Equal of course. They also have a 24 second clock in which you have to get a shot off and at least hit the rim. As far as soccer…no one cares.

The defense is the most disappointing. Never expected the offense to be very good because they don’t have a line or QB. But you would think with the talent they have on defense, they could lean on that. Both sides of the ball, they s*** the bed down the stretch.

Its not just that they just don’t have enough, they just weren’t very good. Lost their last 5 by an average of 16 points a game.
