  1. We don't know what is happening right now. But your replies have been terrible. You literally used a 45 year old retired player who hasn't played since 2013 as a comparison.
  2. Wasnt John Randle not drafted because of his size and measurables?
  3. I bet you wouldn’t say it to his face!
  4. Do you think Dave Wandstedt could have drawn up a gameplan last year to stop Gase’s offense?
  5. The word out of OTA's is Addison is noticeably trimmer. Hopefully it makes a difference. I think AJ starts over him with the first unit. Shot in the dark guess....his 56% snap count last year drops to about 40% this year.
  6. I knew a lot of them but surprisingly didn't know about Conlan.
  7. I honestly don't know either. I just googled "Adam Gase next coaching job" and that came up....I looked it up because I haven't heard a thing about him.
  8. I certainly think Diggs catches will drop this season. His 127 catches last year was 6th all time so I think you can expect a slight drop but he's also Diggs...who knows. I don't think we necessarily have to think that getting more targets to Ertz means everyone else will have have a reduced number. We were at 46% 3rd down conversion which I believe was around 5th and 15th in total offensive plays. If we move the ball even better....that's more opportunities for everyone. https://www.footballdb.com/stats/play-selection.html I don't think Ertz is that game breaker, vertical threat. I think he's the chain mover and redzone target.
  9. Yes true but wouldn’t you think that we would go to Ertz more? Beane said we essentially got nothing out of our TE last year and doesn’t sound out of design. Being that we supposedly want Ertz, we want to change that. I certainly think he won’t have the elite numbers as he did in Philly because like you say, Philly didn’t have as many weapons….but also didn’t have the QB. I think around 50-55 catches is accurate. I think he would be closer to 600 yards. I think a little more TD’s as well.
  10. https://dailysnark.com/2021/06/30/former-jets-coach-adam-gase-accepts-job-as-offensive-coordinator-of-local-high-school-team/ Adam Gase is now a high school offensive coordinator.
  11. Mina Kimes is Korean American so she will always have a place in my heart....but not as much as Kim Pegula.
  12. I agree. He isn't what he used to be but he's a McDermott kind of guy....he plays hard on every play. Jerry deserves to be here.
  13. In the last 4 years, minus last year because he was injured and had bad QB play, here are Ertz's numbers: 88 catches, 916 yards and 10.4 average. 116 catches, 1163 yards and 10.0 average. 74 catches, 824 yards and 11.1 average 78 catches, 816 yards and 10.5 average. Dawson Knox with Allen throwing to him: 24 catches, 288 yards and 12.0 average. (missed 4 games) 28 catches, 388 and 13.9 average. Career catch% Ertz - 67% Knox - 55%
  14. I think it was simply he wasn’t getting anything done and unreliable. Knox scares me because of his mental lapses.
  15. Our Gene wouldn’t have brought Milan HS in Hickory, IN a Championship. He wouldn’t have given them hope….hope is all you need sometimes. But at the same time, Red will tell you hope is a dangerous thing. It can drive a man mad.
  16. We moved on from Zay Jones after 2 years….did you view that as a mistake?
  17. I don’t even know who that is. Does he have a fixer upper type show on HGTV?
  18. You specifically said negativity should increase with age….
  19. Josh Allen looked as bad first two years? Well if this trade does go through, that means our coaching staff and GM don’t have confidence in Knox because they’re trading for a #1 tight end….which is the opinion of many of this board. Gene Hackman is my #2.
  20. Who is the best Gene? I’m going with Gene Wilder. Johnny Depp was a disgusting Willy Wonka.
  21. Yes, tight end is the biggest concern for us. Our leader in receptions from a tight end was 24 and that was Knox. 24. Knox has missed more than just that one block. He isn't a reliable WR or blocker at this point. A lot of people have the physical tools in the NFL.
  22. Ertz is less of a risk than Diggs was. Diggs stopped showing up and was fined. Ertz would finally give us a good and reliable tight end. Tight end is the biggest concern on offense....we got nothing from them last year.
